We have been to several NJ wineries, but Balic Winery is our absolute favorite! Their wines are amazing - Alexander the Great is the winner if you love red dry wines. Their sampling is free of charge; the owners say that ithe is impossible to taste and then not purchase their wine, and this is true! I am not a fan of sweet wines, but they definitely have a nice and unique selection of them ( e.g. fruit wines that I have never seen anywhere in the US before) We stopped by yesterday - and purchased a few bottles of Alexander the Great again. The owners had complimentary cheese, crackers and strawberry with chocolate to have with their sampling wine - I dont know if that is a regular pratice, but it was definitely very nice. Also, we enjoyed one of our wines outside on the terrace and it was amazing. We will definitely come back.

There are many fine wineries in NJ but a visit to Balic Winery will prove who is the best! My wife and I visit often and I must say it is difficult to ONLY walk out with a case. The owner/vintner is "Bo" who is often there to tell you the unique history of his wide selection of delicious NB and complex wines. I especially enjoy the Alexander the Great (red) while my wife goes for the Napoleon Bonaparte (white). We also love the Cream Sherry. I could go on and on but do not miss Balic Winery.

best wine in my own opinion .. my wife never liked wine but i had her try the mango wine she loves it .. my personal favorite is the huckleberry i highly recommend very friendly and knowledgeable free tastings if you are passing thru be sure to buy more then one bottle or you will be disappointed ...living almost 3 hours away i make it a point to grab a case every chance get

Bought two bottles of the Mango wine from PA Dutch Farmers market in Princeton, NJ both taste vinegary. I was surprised because I purchased the Cream Sherry and Harvest Spice for the holidays after sampling a friends and they were very good.

This is a great place for tasting wine. I went there to pick up a case for a friend and my wife and I started tasting the different wines and purchased a case also. The owner was a pleasure to talk and Mariah the owners dog was great.

Wonderful free tasting of all their house-made wines. We normally go for dry red wines, but we loved the unique and very tasty fruit wines. A nice chill place to hang out and learn from the owner. We will be back!

Great place to stop on way to beach. Tried all the berry wines. Especially enjoyed the blackberry wine. Need to go back when they restock the mango wine! Pomegranate is good too. Owner is very nice and helpful.

The Red Velvet is so smooth. It is delicious!!! My husband, who is a beer drinker & doesnt care very much for wine, loves it.
