I always feel relaxed after visiting this place. However there is another reason for my decision to leave a review- I am glad there are such sites where children are welcome to explore. Here they can watch, they can smell, they can listen, they can feel... they can experience. I am a bit grown-up in order to get excited over such things (a walk along a park I mean) but I can recognise the excitement in childrens eyes when I see it. In the Nature Center I see it often. Do take a child by the hand and bring it here. A childs smile is priceless!

They used to call this "Abingtons Best Kept Secret" - but its not a secret anymore. This wonderful little gem is wonderful for short walks with your children. They have a bird observatory and a live Screech Owl and Turkey Vulture! They also offer stellar programs for kids and adults. If you keep driving by and wondering about Briar Bush, stop in sometime. Its a nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of todays busy world.

Wonderful 12 acres of wooded trails, pond, bird observatory, nature museum with live animals, outdoor natural playscape for kids, and a seasonal butterfly house. There is no entry fee but, some educational programs have a fee. Definitely a place to check out if you enjoy nature!

Beautiful slice of nature in the woods. Hiking paths, enclosed bird observatory with rocking chairs, natural playscape, pond, rescued animals inside the museum, fantastic educators, etc. You must go! Summer camp fills up quickly. Great place for kids birthday parties.

We went for a birthday party. My kids loved bug hunting on the trails out back and touching all of the bugs and animals that they had inside of the building. I even learned a few new but and animal facts while we were there.

Adorable place for kids or scouts. The scout programs are cute! Kids can touch animals that they wouldnt be able to touch in "classroom" environments.
