One of the best Catholic Shrines in the state, if not the country. Rosary trail, Station of the Cross gardens, plenty of walking paths..just a great way to refresh your spirit for the day. I was a little dissapointed with the Fr Machado weekend retreats, overpriced and overbooked, and the food was HORRID!! Father Machado and Father Paul put on a fantastic retreat, but I guess for $225, I expected a better variety of food. Dont get me wrong, you dont go on a retreat for the menu, I got it. But, its like the staff didnt put forth any type of effort to supply good, hearty meals. Cold ceral for breakfast and a whipped up 10 minutes before sitdown - lunch and dinner. Nice gift shop, and overall just a wonderful spiritually uplifting place to renew and refresh your soul.
