I wont be going back any time in the future. Sound died twice during the evening. Security pulled us away from the set we CAME TO SEE (Mux Mool and Menert were the two things that saved the evening from being a completely shady experience)to check our jackets at the entrance. At this point, I was only slightly inconvenienced. When we get to the place to check our jackets, the employee tells us its 3 dollars a coat to check them. If they wanted us to check our jackets, tell us at the door that thats what is happening, or at least let us check them for free when youre pulling us AWAY from why we even came to your venue in the first place. I saw multiple people manhandled by security that were just standing around talking to friends and drinking. Maybe they didnt "meet up to dress code" either way, who knows. A friend in our group was also charged 5 bucks for each of his drinks when the other two folks in our party paid $4. I know its only a dollar, but that doesnt make it less shady. Either way, I had a pretty terrible evening because of how the place was run. Liquid is not somewhere you can go to just dance and have a good time. If youre here, youre a potential liability, not a customer. If you like $4 (maybe $5, staff cant seem to decide) PBRs and getting hassled by security while the sound cuts out, this is the place for you. The man with the ginger beard at the door was very nice, and professional. Props to you, man.

Segredo has improved tremendously. The venue now has two dance floors which equals more space and better circulation for the employees to go in between bars. The music is phenomenal and always will be. The bartender staff is absolutely amazing. They are very on tpp of everything, they get your drinks fast and they make them well. The drink specials have improved as well. The bouncers are a pleasure to the place, as long as you dont do anything wrong. They are considered hospitality as well bc they roam around making sure things are running smoothly. Yet they stop once in a while and ask "how is your night going". The visuals that they have there now, Matt City Lights are such an addition to the club. They bring nothing but the best lights in Milwaukee to Madison, they are such a pleasure to watch. They time the lights to the music. It is beautiful, check it for yourself! I see really big things for this club. Keep up the improvemnet.

Ive been coming here for years and saw this place transform from 1 star to a truly 5 star VIP experience. Im starting to frequent the venue over the Orpheum and Majestic when it comes to shows. Liquid has been bringing in huge international names, and for the size of the venue, it makes it that much better because youre close with the artists and DJs. Some of the best experiences Ive had when it comes to fan-artist interactions. When shows are at bigger venues I have a hard time enjoying the experience and feel like theres a mile between the stage and I. I believe they have the best sound system, LED wall, and light setup. The placement of the VIP is at the height of the stage so it makes you feel the performance on the same level as the DJs. You pay a little extra for the VIP, to get the VIP experience. When youre with a group of friends, its not even much.

If you enjoy being discriminated against, this is by far the best club in Madison. I was helping my friend out by loaning him my jacket so that he could enter, because "plain T-shirts" are not allowed. after they get in, I run home to grab a different shirt. I put on this other shirt with decals and such on it, after a few minutes of waiting at the counter, I am finally told it costs $15 to enter... I work hard for my money so I decide its not worth it. so I start asking questions about dress code, the guy rambles some nonsense to me about how the audience has vastly improved since the change, telling me that "trashy people" are deterred.... I didnt even have to go inside to know they dont deserve a penny from me. if you want to pay to be discriminated against by all means, this is the place to go.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a bar/night club. Staff (mostly bouncers) treated people like objects. Ive never been so offended by staff in my life, and Ive got pretty thick skin. They required you to check your coat then charged 4 dollars to do so, the worst part was trying to get my stuff back at the end of the night, total chaos and disorganization. Oh also they have a dress code they like to enforce with an iron fist. This means no white tees, hats, etc. Basically if they dont think your dressed hip enough to their standards they reserve the right to give you the boot. Good luck if you ever go there. Ill never be back.

Best experience ever ,this place has definitely step up their game . It used to be a cheesy spot when it was that other place ( I cant recall the name )I really have to tip my hat to these guys ,they really know how to throw party. It was cannons going off everywhere and confetti to the Good Lord... Found out this place is back open because they were shaking the floor to the double U next to it.I had no choice but to go in to see what was going on The expanse and vibe gave me the impression of a Las Vegas nightclub Tip:call early in advance for VIP access you cant go wrong

Awful. Their idea of a DJ is a guy with an ipod playing songs from the 90s and there was a $10 cover for that. He wasnt even mixing or playing remixes, just top 40 stuff! My friend and I were sitting at a table. The lampshade fell from the ceiling onto the table spilling her drink everywhere, and they wouldnt give her a new one! They didnt apologize either. The drinks are the weakest Ive ever had and they are served out of cheap plastic cups. I love dive bars so its not like Im a hard-to-please princess, this place is just VERY full of itself.....

Great Energy. Employees were not rude, they were helpful. They kept the place and people in tune, enforced what they needed. It was a great experience. Great sound was never dissatisfying. The low level frequencies bumped and the high end frequencies were sharp. Lights added to the great music as well. Keep a open mind about going and try it once, that is all I have to say.

They pulled me aside because someone else wearing a plaid shirt (I was wearing a plaid shirt) had snuck in while I was waiting for my friend to come out of the bathroom. Her phone was dead so I had absolutely no way to find her. They refused to radio or anything and I had just paid $50 for us both to get in. Will not be returning to ever again. Very disappointing.

Its a good night if they clean the floor before the show and doors open up on time. Bartenders are known for overcharging customers. Will make customers wait outside in the cold for no reason other than looking like they have a large line formed outside. Need to stop putting on a club facade and just be a concert venue.
