Bay Beach Amusement Park is a fantastic place for families especially with younger children. Tickets are 25 cents/apiece. Most rides for small children require only one ticket. Even the biggest ride, a wooden roller coaster big enough to thrill adults, requires only 4 tickets. Several rides require two tickets. The big picture is this: if I spend $30 on tickets to entertain my family of six for half of a day, I often end up giving a few tickets away to a stranger at the end of the day. Its a tremendous value. The natural beauty here is also fantastic. There is copious green space for picnics, relaxing, and enjoying being outdoors. There are regular free playgrounds for children. The parking is free. What a gem! Several times a summer, we drive over a hundred miles one way to visit Bay Beach Amusement Park. It has almost of the good things about amusement parks (family fun, excitement, time outside) without the negatives (long lines, high prices, crowded, separation from natural beauty). Its wholesome, affordable, hassle-free family fun. That makes it a destination.

Fun for the whole family and priced right. This is park that is owned and maintained by the City of Green Bay. It has been around for a long time and the prices reflect that old timey nostalgia. While ride tickets are $0.25 a piece, they have concessions are rather normal. Most rides are 2-3 tickets and are geared toward the younger crowd, 12 and younger, but they have been building newer and bigger rides for the older kids and adults. Everything from little kids boats and swings to bumper cars and a tilt-a-whirl. Theres also a train ride for the family on the lake shore (1/2 size??). The have the Zippin Pippin roller coaster and a Sea Dragon boat ride that cost more, 4 tickets, but still seem reasonable. They are building more. It can get somewhat busy and crowded on holidays but the lines are still acceptable. If you do need a break you can either grab lunch in the food court or enjoy a packed lunch and picnic on the park outskirts.

Conveniently located about 30-40 minutes drive time away from the center of Appleton, it is an awesome place to go with family and friends for a small day trip to have a picnic and then go on some rides. I really think you get a really good value out of the rides at 50 cents for most family rides and 25 cents for child rides. I also personally like the little history signs they have for each of the rides, they are quite interesting to read and remind you that Bay Beach is as much of a historical site as an amusement park. The only things I am not satisfied with is the cost of the concessions, my friend paid over 3 dollars for a cotton candy which was small and seemed like it was cheaply made. At my last visit there were a few rides which were down, but there didnt seem to be any efforts to get them back online. I also think that the trains are quite small considering the large line of people who are wanting to get on.

Just as good as I remember it being when I was a kid. Tickets are just 25 cents each and most rides are one or two tickets. A very reasonable price for a day of fun with the family. There are quite a few rides on the property, some for little ones ( 18 months or so and up) and enough for adults to do too. There is a lot of parking (and its free) and many picnic tables. There are also two playgrounds on the property. Although many of the rides have been there for decades, everything seemed to be in good shape. We usually bring a picnic lunch and buy only cotton candy (which was $3-4), so I cant say much about the food available or the prices. My only complaint from our recent Sunday visit was that there was only one train running, so the wait was more than 30 minutes. Other than that, the lines were short and we had a great time!

The joys of childhood :) This place has several rides, and if you spent a whole day there you may end of spending a bit of money assuming you tried to ride everything several times. I bought $5 in tickets. My son decided to ride the train, twice because they had a diesel and a steam version so we had to try both. Then we rode the bumper cars twice. So 8 rides altogether for $5. He wasnt interested in anything else. We then had cotton candy, lemon ice and a popcorn which I think was perhaps around $5. Its a nice area to spend some time if your in Green Bay. Parking is free and there is no admission cost.

This amusement park is open daily all summer, there are rides for every age and the tickets are cheap! 25¢ each! Rides cost between 1and 5 tickets each depending on the size of the ride. My wife and I spent less than $10, and our 2 and 7 year olds rode the rides for a couple hours! Beyond that, theres a concession stand for food, or bring your own and grab a spot in the park/picnic area right there near the rides. There were even a few groups of people grilling. You can take your family here, make a day of it, and do it CHEAP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Our family really enjoyed our visit. Our three children are all ten and under. The rides were fun enough for them to enjoy and there were few rides the younger ones couldnt ride because of height restrictions. Tickets for each ride were only 25¢ each. Our family of four had a great time on just $25 in tickets in about 3-4 hours. There were lots of people and the wait for some of the rides was long, but usually less than 20 minutes. This place is a very good alternative to a more expensive amusement park that charges admission.

Very fun for all ages from toddlers to my retired grandmother. The ice cream and treats were good but the food in the made cafeteria area wasnt great. The fried food was either over fried or soggy. The rides were fun. Also, it is very cheap. There is no entry fee and each ticket is only $0.25. Little kid rides were only 1 ticket and most of the others were only two tickets per person. The only more expensive ride was the bumper cars which was 3 tickets, but the price was worth it as the cars are one of the most fun rides there.

This is a great fun place to take the kids and affordable. We took our kids here when they were little and they enjoyed going and now we go with them as young adults and the grandkids. There is no need to go to a large amusement park like Great America because you can have as much fun here as there and a lot more affordable for a family. There are rides here for all ages and a lot of fun with the family. You can plan a family outing with a picnic and go on the rides also. A very fun place to go with the family.

I go here with my family quite regularly during the summer. I live south of Milwaukee in Racine, but this is only a 2.5 hour drive. Yes, I could go to Great America down in Gurnee, but have you seen the prices there? At Bay Beach, I pay between 0.25 and 0.75 per person for the rides. It is also very useful to me at this point, as my 3 children are still small, and can all go on the 0.25 kiddie rides. It is also nearby a nature walk, which is another cool thing to do on a Bay Beach day.
