The list of bars that I regularly visit in Tacoma is quite short and The Valley is on that list for a god damned good reason. All of the staff are stellar at what they do, the food is reasonably priced, delicious as well as vegan options. A pretty decent tap rotation and selection of spirits, as well as craft root beer and kombucha for unique non-alcoholic choices. My absolute favorite aspect of The Valley is that, ever since they opened in late 2014, it has been a consistent haven for the local music scene. For the most part there is not a cover charge, but donations are encouraged (especially if there is a touring band performing.) I highly recommend coming in and enjoying The Valley.

The first time i visited this pub I was waiting on a train and I had some time to kill, by the time my train had arrived I was well fed and a little buzzed. The bartenders are professional the food is hearty. In fact, the first thing you will notice when you visit The Valley, the smell of good food. They also have entertainment on certain nights like comedians, karaoke, and live music. I wish I could visit this pub more frequently, and if I lived within walking distance it would be my regular pub, and you would find me making my weaving way home from the Valley at least two to three times a week.

What a glorious place! Looks dumpy on the outside but delicious treasures await you inside! The shrimp and cheesy grits are hands down the most amazing grits weve ever had!!! Bowl was licked clean. Pork belly biscuits and gravy were so delicious as well!!! The staff was extremely friendly. We cant wait to come back to try more things.

Breakfast here is amazing! The entire menu. I come most every Saturday to meet with friends. If you are carving out some quality time the music food and drinks should be amazing and this place is fun and comfortable. My favorite is the pork belly over home made biscuits. YUM!

Went to the valley for a Tacoma Beer Run and it was a great place to relax afterwards. I didnt have any of the food but the staff was cool and environment was chill. A little small but a lively place overall. Would definitely go back.

Great food, awesome vibes and the service is amazing. All the bartenders were friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice place to go if you want to have some good beers, delicious food and just have a nice relaxing time with friends.
