I love this preserve! I generally only take the short path to the pond because dogs arent allowed on the other trails that have trailheads here :( Because of that I dont come here too often, pretty short walk for my pup. Its very beautiful and I always love to sit and watch the ducks, frogs, and turtles go about their business. If youre looking for a quiet little spot to sit back and take in a peaceful view this is a great little gem thats never too busy. If youre looking to take your 4 legged friend out it may not be enough of a walk. Great for an elderly pup that just likes to mosey and relax, a short walk makes you feel like you are at a little pond deep in the forest. Theres a lot of little animals to watch and like I said its not very busy. The paths where pups are not are lower are lowered nice gravel paths. They follow the power lines. The path to the pond is paved. It doesnt have a steep grade and its a pretty easy walk. It cuts through a beautiful old forest, and has little spots to stop and read about the local flora and animals. Theres a section that you can take through the pond/swamp and a section that stays in the dry section of the forest.

The Watershed is the premier running location for many Eastside and even Seattle based runners. The perimeter loop is about 5 miles, with several shorter options available. Several other trails are accessible from the Watershed. I enjoy the trails in the Redmond Ridge, Trilogy, and Tuscany neighborhoods. You could even piece together a 20 mile long run from here without (hardly) ever touching pavement. The Watershed is also popular with hikers and equestrians. A couple things to watch out for is that pets are not allowed in the Watershed Preserve, bicycles are only allowed on the main pipeline trail, and equestrians are not allowed on the Silers Mill Trail.

A friend brought me and my dog here and there were other dogs around, not to mention horses. But on a warm summer day we had it to ourselves for the most part. Part of the preserve is land that has been fairly recently logged. To the east there are great views out the Snoqualmie valley. My friend didnt know it was supposed to be dog free, hes been running and hiking here for years, the newly marked trails were new to him. We accessed it through roads in residential areas, which I guess is not the official entrance. Why no dogs if theyre encouraging horses makes no sense to me. But , if no dogs = wont be coming back. Shame.

Nice to have some highly preserved (dense forest) green space out here. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed and hardly any trails open to mountain biking = no fun. Its too bad, because it really is a beautiful place to visit. The trails are nice and wide and easily accessible for all rider types looking to enjoy the outdoors on an easier bike ride. I assumed I could do a loop around the park but it ended up just being an out and back along the one trail bikes are allowed on. Id come back for a hike but my dog wouldnt be allowed either...

This natural area is in thick woods. Some of these trails are very hilly, narrow and twisty with a natural surface. Roughly half of the watershed trails are pedistrian only. Via Collin Creek trail you have access to the Tolt pipeline trail, Kathryn Taylor park, and several neighborhood trails. I found no facilities or parking other than in nearby Kathryn Taylor park.

I love to run here I throughout the year with my family. Trails get a little soggy in parts when the rain hits, but less so than other trails in the area. A variety of trail lengths gives you a great deal of options for a day out. Popular with horse riders as well, so maintain trail ettiquete and walk when you see a horse.

I love the trails here. Pretty good parking lot, too. You can get a good hike in for sure. The trails are well maintained and there are parts that are pedestrian only, so you can avoid the bikes + the need to keep an eye out for a horse having passed through previously. Pretty mellow last time I was there.

Absolutely love Redmond Watershed, the trails are easily accessible from the parking lot, reasonably marked...though likely because I have been so often and appreciate the bathroom at the main parking area. This is a little piece of heaven if youre looking for a soft-surface run without hills.
