Ah! I love this park. Really clean and tidy. It is very close to the Wetlands of San Jose and it is where you may bring your own boat ( something mid size) and drop it in the marina and probably go to the bay. It is an awesome park from where several other trails originate so one can take their bicycles o just go for a good run/walk. Please do not try to feed the birds. There is a restroom which is always clean. Park closes at sunset. Ample of parking and RV friendly. Bring your pets here and they will love it too. Awesome scenery and a train tracks run through it which makes it even dramatic when you watch Amtrak passing by.

Great views, not too crowded. Pretty surreal area in South Bay. I brought my kayak, only saw a few other kayakers. Couple of motor boats were there with people fishing. I paddled north 4.5 miles to Coyote Creek, took a break, and paddled back. Beware of the tides in Alviso Slough! I was paddling against the current both ways. As tide was rising, currents were flowing south. As low tide was approaching, currents switched toward the north. They have a map, and a tides booklet at the boat launch. Dont forget sunscreen!

Love this place! A very serene park! There is 0 elevation and just one main trail. The trail goes along a beautiful salt water pond, which looks mostly like an extension of the Bay. There are a lot of birds along the water. The trail is usually quite with not many people, but you do happen to see a bunch of folks - so not completely deserted. You can choose to do the 3 mile loop or longer ones. The pond boundaries are where the trails are and there is more than one pond.

I think I enjoy wetlands more than most. Birds, the subtle range of colors amidst the grass. The tiny channels. Theres a good trail for walking, running, biking along the bay here. A Bart line possess through and the contract of the gleaming train against the grasses feels... Almost rural. Its a nice place to go to further youre in the middle of a huge polishing center and just be. Kite flying it very viable.

Alviso Park abuts the Don Edwards Wildlife Sanctuary and both are a combination of bay marshland and abandoned salt ponds plus an active train line running through it. Its pretty much what you would expect except for the nature walk in Alviso with strange entry ways to the boardwalks. Its very nice at sunset and sunrise but the bathrooms dont open until 8 am and are locked at sunset.

I just fell in love with this place. I went around 4pm on a weekend and it wasnt packed. Theres plenty of free parking. The house facade-looking structures are a classic spot for photo shoots (and I found a couple taking photos as I was leaving too). There are trails that run around the bay lands, so its a great open space for walking, running, and biking with family and friends.

A very secluded location with lots of walking trails to explore. They need more signage since some paths were marked and others were not making us guess if we were allowed on them at all. Beautiful sunsets here with the mountains right in front of you. NO DRONES ALLOWED, or so they say. Just park outside the park and fly your drones over the park, nothing they can do about that.

I almost dont want to tell anyone about this hidden Bay Area gem, because I want to keep it all to myself. I go there to walk alone on the levees and dig the water and the bunnies and the seagulls. Please dont go there. :-) Maybe if I tell you it sometime smells like sewage from the wastewater treatment plant down the road that youll give it a miss. Hope I never see you there.

とても静かで、何もない公園ですが、リラックスできます。 隣に単線の線路が通っていて、日本の田舎のような情緒も あります。潮の香りがすごくて、波打ち際には塩が固まっています。とても気に入りました。

Beautiful place to take a walk or just hang out. I used to go here daily to eat lunch and take recharge from a high-stress job. Most of the businesses in this area have been abandoned, but there are still a couple of popular and well-trafficked food options nearby. The marina & park are typically pretty quiet, with the existing facilities well-maintained.

A quiet, pretty park at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay. There was formerly a fishing port and cannery here, now abandoned. The levies out into the bay are great for bird watching. The park has public restrooms and a large parking lot. Not sure if there is any parking fee since we always ride our bikes here via the San Francisco Bay Trail.

Great for a walk on the bay. Generally not very grounded so there is plenty of parking. You can walk or bike ride a long distance and if you have a boat, you can launch it from here. There are bathrooms, too. If you are going to journey to Drawbridge (ghost town) this is a decent place to start. They recently added a "no drones" sign.

I travel here quite often and its a nice little spot thats easily accessible. It does get busy at times and in the afternoon the winds can make it rather cold. There are tons of birds and paths to wander and enjoy though. Its also possible to get to Don Edwards Alviso from here, which can be a fun longer excursion as well.

A great place to get close to the water and experience and photograph local birds. Miles and miles of hard-packed gravel trails that are suitable for walking, running, or biking. Especially beautiful just after dawn and before dusk with the low sun angles. We are fortunate to have access to such a nice resource.

My favorite spot for a short hike or bike ride after work: The sunsets are gorgeous, and even if it is just miles away from the Silicon Valley hustle & bustle, it is a quiet and relaxing environment. Lots of birds (pelicans, ducks geese, herons, etc.), squirrels, jackrabbits, and I even saw a fox there once.

I love this park, so much rich history extending back to the 1800s. Sweeping vistas of the surrounding mountains. Birds galore, and enough trails to fulfill all your hiking, biking and strolling desires. Not to mention the Marina and boat launch. This place has it all! Enjoy this awsome park!

Gorgeous sweeping views of marshland, water and hills. My first visit but not my last. Stunning colors repeated in the reflections on the water. Birds galore. Open and tranquil. When a train passed by they tooted and waved! Dedicated parking lots. Not crowded on a Saturday morning.

Free parking, no fees, great outlooks. Might be windy, so take some clothes to dont be cold. Good for birds watching. Typically not overcrowded, quite and nice place. No restrooms, however. Not suitable for bbq or parties. Great to enjoy silence and nature.

It is so beautiful here. People take photo walks here or ride their bikes. Watch the signs as they direct you what trails are open to the public. You also may want to plan early morning hikes because it can get warm here and theres no shade.

Experience the colorful funk many ruins of storehouses from days when Alviso was a shipping town. The estuary park has many flat trails...or just sit in car watching the wind whip the long grasses and shore birds. Good to clear out the cobwebs.

Awesome Park, and turns out most people working 3mn away dont seem to know it exists. The big loop takes about 3h to complete and there is no shade at all. We hiked from 7:30 until 11am and ended in nearby Maria Elenas (delicious Mexican place).
