One of the best places in the world to take your dog. All the people youll encounter love dogs, and its such a novelty to be in a space where people approach the animals correctly and reinforce good behaviors. When I arrived in Redmond, my three dogs were not well socialized with people or other animals from living out in the country, prior. At first they were anxious, skittish, and shy, but every single person theyve encountered as a potential threat would give them a kind word and let them sniff around before offering a hand or trying to pet them. You could see the surprise registered in their posture that all of these scary people were FRIENDLY! Maybe ALL people were friendly! The gears were visibly turning as they put it together. A year later, theyre careening around the park, running up to strangers for attention, and I practically cry every time I see them so genuinely carefree. The dogs here are all very used to meeting other strange dogs, and are incredibly mellow--mostly ignoring strange behavior from other dogs. Youll practically never hear barking except in play. Ive only _ever_ seen aggression from small lapdogs. Occasionally now, Ill notice a dog whos a bit anxious like mine used to be, and call off my pack so the dog can inspect _us_.... just like other owners did for me, so that my dogs could adjust. Huge positive karma invested in this place, with everyone constantly paying forward. And, people are seldom as happy and gregarious as when theyre here; it makes all your worries evaporate for just a little while. The space is gorgeous. Open fields, woodland paths, and an absolutely beautiful brook thats a salmon run, and heron sanctuary. But the most incredible part of this park is the people, all of whom are exceedingly well-trained by their canine companions. Sit down on a bench (you dont need a dog) and you can engage dozens of proud dog parents in casual conversation while enjoying the scenery and the sort of adorable antics that wind up on Youtube. All dogs become joyful puppies again, no matter their age. This place is therapy.

This is really one of the best dog parks Ive been too. For one, its huge. There are so many different types of areas that your dog can play in. Ive been to a few dog parks that are basically just a fence around a pit of sand and/or dirt/bark/etc. When you get into Marymoor you can do your entire walk without seeing a fence because its so large. You have bark paths to walk on and your dog can bound through fields, jump in the water, run through trees, the works. Trash cans are located along side the river. Poop bags are located at the two entrances. There is no small dog play area at this dog park, which can be a real bummer if you have a dog that is afraid of larger dogs - like I do. There is a lot of space, though, so if you avoid the water areas you can do pretty well with your small dog. Ive seen mainly well behaved dogs here. I did see a small fight break out at one point, but it was quickly taken care of. People who go to this dog park seem very friendly and they seem like they really care about their animals. This is definitely one of my dogs favorite places to go.

The dog park is my favourite place to take my dog, she loves it. Always busy with dogs on the weekend and lots of parking available for only $1 and a pay per use dog wash station. Ive been to the beer festival there last year and it was great so returning again this year; parking for such a big event was well managed, I was impressed. I even went here to get my wedding photos done in the summer and they turned out great. Ive stopped in to eat lunch on the picnic benches once, the park grounds are definitely well maintained. Always concerts and events going on like movies in the park. Theres some nice play areas for kids too.

The dog park is unparalleled in the Seattle area. We love that there are long walking paths, natural grass settings, bark chip areas, and water areas in addition to the typical gravel. While our dog comes back still dirty, its not that fine-particle dust that seems to get everywhere and impossible to get out, but good old fashioned dirt, water, and bark! There is a doggie shower area nearby, but seems somewhat expensive for a self-wash. Plenty of parking at the two entrances mean we never wait and the $1 parking fee is very reasonable for those used to Seattle parking fees!

Sprawling park with so many specialized areas. Has a bike race track, huge off leash dog park, R/C plane park, baseball fields, turf soccer fields, and event grounds for outdoor movies and concerts. The dog park is the best around hands down that winds in and out of little groves of tress and runs along a small river. There are wooden step-downs into the river and you can find dozens and dozens of dogs on any given day swimming and chasing down balls in the river. Amazing park, fantastic to live near!

I go to the dog park. I wish they had a truly small dog off leash area. With little dogs they often get trampled even if they are comfortable around large dogs. And dont say I should be complaining about this, & if i have a problem I should go to a "small dog" dog park. News flash there arent really any around. And if there are there are people who bring their Large dogs and wont leave or contain their dogs when the little dogs come. Other than that, the trails are great and I like it there.

Awesome facilities here and some unique playground equipment. We spent time having fun on the playground and then checked out the soccer field which had a few old soccer balls ready to play with! The kids enjoyed scoring goals and kicking the ball around on the artificial turf, it added some fun to the game and it was nice that it wasnt super muddy like a grass field would have been. We want to check out the events here in the summertime. Great place to hang out with the family.

They have an off leash dog park that is wonderful, garden, soccer fields, baseball fields, open fields, concerts in the summer, a windmill (which is fun to take pictures of), a mansion that they have been revamping to be rented out for events, and more. It is a large park and I have gotten there via car and bus (lots of walking if you take a bus though), you need to pay if you park a car, usually it is $1 a day unless you are seeing a concert then the price shoots up.

Marymoor park become greedy, by charging people even for the parking and enforcing that. But the most seizure of the toad strangler Marymoor park is experiencing when some artists are coming to the park (ea Cirque du soleil). Then the toads greed of the Marymoor park expands to abnormal size and they are charging $15+ for the parking. Unbelievable greedy park, considering that they have ash injections from the government.

The natural areas of Marymoor are incredible and its one of the absolute best bird-watching areas in King County. Theres a blue heron rookery near the river and barn owls are regularly spotted in the park in the early morning. On the flip side, theres a serious problem with illegal off-leash throughout the rest of the park. Watch out for aggressive dogs, entitled dog-owners, and watch your step.
