This is a pretty good visitors center. Plenty of brochures for recreation and more. The staff was helpful, greeting me upon entering. She asked if I needed assistance, and helped me find the specific brochures I was in need of.

Everything on anything in Western Washington, the Puget Sound and the Salish Sea region you want or need to know on where to go whenever to do. The only place you need for visitor info.

We visited the Capitol ground to enjoy a picnic. There were about 30 tables all places in one area in the sun near the restrooms and not distributed around the lake with some shade.

We attended a rally here. Plenty of room to assble on the property. And traffic is significantly easier to navigate than Seattle.
