What a beautiful links style 9-hole course that you can zip through in 2 hrs walking or less if youre in a cart! Its at the base of Mt. Si and getting here is about a 1/2 hr drive from downtown. The Riverbend Cafe has great food and a full bar that you can get drinks from as you make your way from the 3rd green to the 4th tee box! With that said, this course requires a lot of thought for several reasons. First and foremost, its shorter than most at almost 2,700 yds. Ball placement over sheer distance is a better play on several holes as the shorter distance entices you to pull out the lumber and pound it long on several holes. This can get you into trouble because several fairways parallell each other - so hard right or left puts you behind trees and on other fairways. There is quite a bit of danger and OB lying in wait with unassuming sand traps, mature trees overhanging and a water hazard on the dogleft left 7th hole. Also, by going long, your game is changed due to needing an exceptional touch with your short irons (wedges actually!). This is a fun course that offers challenges and the price is right.

This course is in great condition. It is better maintained than I remember from last year. The greens are near perfect. The fairways are fantastic. This is an under played course. Do not be fooled by it only being nine holes. This course is a great challenge. You will not find a better round of 18 holes for the spring rate of $25. I highly recommend this course for beginners and average players looking for a nice relaxed day of golf. The views cant be beat either.

If youre looking for a quick nine holes without the wait, then Cascade is a great option. Its also a great course if you want to play with your kids. The course is short, and the fairways are relatively narrow so accuracy trumps distance on most holes. PROs - low cost and usually not very busy. CONs - only nine holes. The layout is not that interesting although hole #7 is a nice change of pace.

I rate 4 stars for what it is. Its a nice little 9 hole links course. I walked it in the rain and there was no one out there, took me about 2 hours to walk and I was duffing the ball all over the place. I would rate this as a good course for practicing and getting out of the house for a couple hours without blowing 60 bucks or taking 6 hours to play 18 holes at a crowded course.

A great moderately challenging course which allows for paring every hole for the average golfer. Not too long and without too many surprises, the lake on hole 7 adds to the challenge as it is at a distance that requires thought as to club to use and making sure you stick the green. This is a fun outing and not too expensive.

Lost my car keys and was stuck out in the cold. The woman working was kind enough to provide my girlfriend and I with some hot chocolate while we waited for the tow truck. It was extremely nice and unexpected.

They serve up good fare at more than reasonable prices. The service is always pleasant and quick. Great breakfasts served up daily.

Fun 9 hole course...really easy to find your balls when they leave the fairway...not a lot of brush to get lost in
