We have been attending Lakewood Playhouse performances for nearly 10 years. The shows are uniformly good, with creative directing, good acting, and very effective sets. Because the theater is small, there is a real connection between audience and actors. Lakewood Playhouse offers the best of what community theater can provide. If you live nearby and have not given the theater a try, I recommend that you do so. You wont be disappointed.

Just watched guys and dolls frist off the kids were pretty good in no way what i say is about them. The theater is so small that two of three of the seating sectons are on the stage. How the hell does blocking work? The sound was way off. Perhapse you may think about upgrading your system a bit. The s speakers from 1978 might need replaced. A mic or two on the actors would be good i supose i mean to say be more like Broadway.

Great show with an intimate feeling. Impressed by the actors. The venue has a ton of local pride. Experience probably varies by show, but the place is probably consistently great for a relaxed experience of live theater.

The Lakewood playhouse has been my saving grace for years you learn laugh and love there. Everyone knows everyone and make you feel part of the family. The shows are fanominal as are the actors and set designs.

I saw doubt here. Very nice play and true to character actors. A 90 min play, but not one minute of it was boring. Look forward to more.

Nice small playhouse! Pay what you can is about once a month, minimum is 5dollars when i went, and the play was great!
