Im a long time visitor of Kenmore Lanes Bowling Alley. I purchased a Living Social voucher for "2 games of bowling on one lane, pitcher of soda, and shoe rental for up to four people from Kenmore Lanes" and I attempted to redeem it tonight, Wednesday (11/21/12), the night before thanksgiving. I invited 3 friends bowling as a treat and upon registering for a lane at 10:10 (register time) I was informed my voucher "was not valid after 10pm." Ive been to Kenmore Lanes about a million times, and I am well aware games drop to $2 per game after 10. I asked the cashier if should could still please process the voucher anyway, despite it being of a lesser value ($2 per game instead of the usual $3.25). She stated she could not, and insisted on a form of payment instead. This is completely unacceptable. I inspected the fine print very well before purchasing the voucher, and with the cashier I mentioned the voucher says only invalid after 5pm on Fridays and all day Saturday.Honestly, this was an embarrassing experience for myself.I invited some associates bowling, expecting the bill would be covered by the voucher I ALREADY PAID FOR. I am deeply disappointed again by Kenmore Lanes. How can you accept revenue from Living Social for a deal you provide online, but fail to recognize the offer in house? I regret purchasing the voucher online, and I realize going forward that I can not consider offers from Kenmore Lanes as valid offers I can redeem. I will certainly pursue a refund from Living Social, and I wish I did not feel obligated to purchase my bowling games tonight, as I intended to pay for my games with my PAID VOUCHER. Kenmore Lanes has since recognized their error and made sufficient amends to my complaint. Thanks, I sincerely appreciate vendors who make an effort to redeem their establishment. I will not let one negative experience detract from the many positive ones. Ill give it another try in the future.

When this place was run by the Pete family things were good there. Now, it has turned into a lies and rumor mill. The employees engage in lies, slander and falsehoods. Last time I was there having coffee on Friday the 14nth, I went outside for a cig, I had to put up with a man who wanted to brag to me all about how he lied to get his Job at Boeing. After I had enough I told him "I dont deal with liars" I threw out my cig and went inside. An hour or so later I went outside for another cig at the front entrance. The same drunken braggart came outside, sucker punched me as hard as he could, then elbowed me only leaving this tiny little bump and scrape, when his third punch came I ducked it and moved around behind him while he stumbled the opposite direction. By the time he figured out that I was behind him by about 8 feet it took him 2 seconds to turn around. All the sudden he didnt want to throw punches anymore. The police showed up, and the manager who runs the front bowling desk ran up to them and said "he is crazy". Sorry, normal, 5 hour mental evaluation on record says "would make an exemplary father". The entire place is run by a bunch of idiots, liars, cheats, thieves, slanderers and the weak. I would avoid this place if I was any of you. I feel bad for the underling employees who have to put up with all this crap from the horrible management.

Ive been here on several occasions, primarily with very large groups. That being said, Kenmore Lanes is incredibly accommodating for large groups. The staff is great, plenty of parking, good drinks and the food is... well... its bowling alley food. Its no Benihana, but its better than Burger King. Unfortunately, every time Ive been in, large group or small, they seem to be harshly understaffed in the restaurant and bar area, making ordering food or drink a bit of an ordeal during a game. Ive never seen the proshop opened, which has become a constant irritation, but one that I can remedy myself by going to a proshop that I know holds more accommodating hours. The lanes themselves are ok at best, but being about 46 years old, they are holding up pretty good. There are quite a few lanes that have a noticeable pot hole(for a lack of a better term), that could catch a slow moving ball, and throw off an in the pocket ball. The state of the house balls, and the signage stating they cannot be held responsible for damaged balls always leaves me worried about what state my personal ball will in be in when it is returned. I give 3 stars because what they are doing well, they are doing quite well and the atmosphere is a good one.

Ruined my Weekend Took the wife and kids, hoping to have some fun on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Got there about 4:30pm. Half the place was packed and active, apparently a tournament taking place. I ask for a lane for 4. Sorry, we are booked. It would be an hour and a half wait to get a lane. Ok, I understand, its a Saturday, and I just walked in, I cam handle the wait. I ordered food and drinks for the family and set up to wait to the lane. One hour and a half go by, watching as half the lanes were empty for an entire hour while we waited. I go back to see how much longer the wait will be. Im told it would be at least another one hour and a half!!!! WTH is going on? I ask why a couple was able to very a lane, and I was there first?! Told, sorry, not sure how that happened... this is ridiculous and unacceptable. I waited the time said it would take. This was a complete waste of my weekend. My kids were very upset they didnt get to play, only being 10 feet from the lanes for almost 2 hours... The check in guy made no efforts to help us, pretty much making it sound like I was the idiot for trying to bowl there on a weekend... I guess hes right, I am any idiot for going there... never again, thanks for nothing...

Great and affordable bar drinks, great bar food! I actually order and carryout my pizzas here because they are the bomb! Pizza here costs the same as Dominos, or Pizza Hut which is pretty good pizza but the pizza here is bigger (one large size) and the ingredients taste really fresh. Bowling of course (50 lanes), online dart boards, a pool table or two, good bathrooms, music but its an old slow BMI music system (not Touchtunes so you cant order and play music from your phone (why the owner did not get a money making Touchtunes machine in the bar is beyond me) :-( with the new Touchtunes phone app I play twice the music that used to (probably because I load up music into the queue via my phone and then realize we will be leaving shortly) Lots of places to sit in the bar and even a seperate cozy room between the bar and games with walls if you decide to bring a group or date for privacy. Lots of TVs to watch the game whatever. A good experience (except for the music) every time!

i tried to go and bowl with my family there for 3 times but had to go back home because they always have some sort of tournaments going on and they give away the whole bowling alley. Only time they would have is after 10pm which is too late for our family because we have smaller kids. when i asked when is good time to come and bowl they told us only on Sundays evenings. We have work and school on Mondays so it is not really good day for us. after i had 3 unsuccessful bowling nights i went on their website hoping to see some sort of schedule showing whats going on at the bowling alley and possibly reserve some evening that would work for our family but nothing i could find with such information. if you are like me and occasionally get in the mood of taking your family and friends for bowling night GOOD LUCK. Because most likely you will not be able to bowl there at family friendly hours which is between 6pm - 9pm.
