Today my husband and our family went to water country today and me and my younger daughter and my husbands nephew which was 6 years old never been there and we brought him he was from two hrs away and he spent the night with us and so we wanted to take him to have a fun day and my family is pass holders and we have been coming to watercountry for 20 years and he is handicapped and I wen to relations to get my nephews ticket then I come back wondering where my husband was and he had stayed in car was getting his money together and never got outta vehicle and a man "drunk" and his wife come up and starts pointing his finger and harassing my husband and putting him down and this was also in front of my other older daughter which is 13 and she was scared cause the man acted as if he was a employee for park saying ur not handicapped why r u parked I. This spot u cant park here on the rocks, other were we had asked a worker cause half was a spot and half was rocks in the space and so this drinking fool kept calling my husband names "fat ass lazy and retorted and when my husband went to get up outta the vehicle he slammed the door on my husbands legs ,my daughter got locked doors and started crying and acreing help and please get in car and so the deunken man continued arguing when I got there after paying for nephews tickets and them the security finally comes and gets involved about 10 min the security is very slack not on point and are not very well trained ,and fine more min later the Williamsburg sherif officer comes over and they held me and my family and husband up like we were murders and the other couple were some where else being talked with I assume idk cause I didnt see them ,this was very embarrassing ,shysty and in professional and we filled out a report and described what happened and lord and behold teu kick my husband or suspend him from park for a year!!!!this is horrendous and so sad and not fair for something my husband did nothing wrong but was harassed by a drunk idiot and should have been written up or got a drunk in public and he should have kept his options to himself!!!!i know one thing I we have talked with a lawyer and he says we have a case!!!also we asked for a number for head of park from the supervisor "DAVID" which was supervisor of the security guards and he gave me the persons name "Jeff"head of parks and when I talked with him and recorded call he said for one he is the only personnel that can kick or suspend anyone from either parks bush gardens and water country and he was upset about what happened but said he was going to check into it and investigate and ask why he wasnt called and that no security officer there can make the call on someone getting suspended ,so BEWARE!!!!keep ur belongings and watch around youn and ur surroundings ur not safe there at the park !!!we don not think in any way or fashion should of my husband been thrown out or a year!!!he was very upset he is got PSTD and ended up having a anxiety attact and chest pains from this man doing all this!!!i will fight to the end to get th respect and be treated fairly and they will hear from our lawyer that in stone!!!

I purchased the day pass, quick queue, and meal plan for seven. After extensive research about the Cabana, I bought that too. I purchased the Surfers Bay with towels, a locker, 2 longer chairs, a table withchicken6 adarondak chairs, 2 drink coupons & one meal, a mini fridge, ceiling fan and up to eight guests. I called to confirm twice and was told there was no additional fee for a party of seven. We got to the area and guess what, "oh, those were last years prices." The young lady said she would have to call a manager to speak with us. I asked about the drink and food service. I was told they no longer do that. So, what I paid for is not actually the whole experience. I spoke with a supervisor who was much younger than me. She offered snack coupons to enhance our experience and said she would not charge is extra for our extra guests. I told her I really wanted the service aspect because while my family team around today, I just wanted to chill on my lounger and not get back up (haha mom of 5 teens...). Of course, the excuse was that they no longer staff for that type of experience. I write this review so those ready to book understand that you will have all of the logistics of the area (private access, covered with ceiling fan, fridge, and all the chairs but prepare to pay extra for more than 4 guests and when you call to confirm, let the rep know what the park says vs what they have on file as true). And you will walk the 40 stairs each time you would like an adult beverage or food. If you would like a water or soda, you will have to interrupt the young lady texting at the entrance to open the cooler and hand it to you. Enjoy!

Associate at the windows were lazy and had attitude. As an annual member, I knew I had $35 off of single day ticket for family and friends. I didnt get the ticket online because I wasnt sure of what the weather was gonna be like. I went to the window to get my "bring a friend" ticket, and I said I need 3 more tickets. Because I had my military ID, she assumed that I was trying to get a military discount and kept insisting that my ticket should be $32 each. I told her that it should only be $25 because I have an annual pass and I get $35 off. She said that online pricing is different. So I left the line and did my research online. I went to another window that was open and had to show them what it says on their website. I can do it online, at the kiosk or at the window. Of course the whole time I was thinking I made a mistake by going to the window where people cant do their job right or refuse to do it unless you can prove them wrong! I figured since we were doing something else at the window might as well get the other tickets there too. Well, I thought wrong! I wish they would just let us members get the "bring a friend" ticket online just like Busch Gardens. So much easier when you dont have to deal with people who makes bunch of excuses so that they dont have to do their job! Sorry for the long note, I was really frustrated with them.

Dont get me wrong, the park was wonderful, clean, easy to navigate, wait times for rides werent horrible. BUT my family and I were incredibly disappointed with the wheelchair accesability! There are only two rides that are wheelchair friendly, and both are for smaller children so my sister in law wasnt allowed to go on them, even though grown adults are allowed on with their children, makes perfect sense? No. You pay full price and anyone in a wheelchair is pretty much spent to sit in the wavepool all day because there is nothing else they can get to. Busch Gardens is completely free for the handicap, AND staff members are more than willing to help such persons on and off rides. Water Country should take a lesson in customer service from them because we will not be back.
