Bryan is clearly thinking of another place. This b&b is simply superb. The service is impeccable and the property is stunningly well manicured and offers a setting like no other. We stayed in a "cottage", enjoyed a five star dinner, used the bikes to tool around town and bought half a case of wine at the vineyard. It is perfect. And, yes, Irvington is a rural town, which has a variety of unique local shops which enhance the getaway experience. This b&b is award winning for all the right reasons.

I dont know if Bryan was writing about the same place. I thought it was lovely, and the ownerswere wonderful and attentive. The food was fine. It wasnt cheap, but what is, Hes right, theres almost nothing to do in Irvington, but isnt that why you go to Irvington? The owners have a cruise on the river that I went on, and that was terrific too. Breakfast was included too. Im not sure what he is talking about. Go. Its great.

We stayed in one of the cottages near the winery. The cottage was very cute and had a kitchen. If you plan on cooking, bring all of your own things to cook with. They have very minimal. The cottage has three bedrooms and two baths. We also visited the inn and it was very nice. The owners were very friendly and I look forward to staying there again.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with an over night at one of the cottages at the Hope and Glory Inn. A fabulous time was had by all. We tried the beautiful pool, the delicious dinner, and wonderful breakfast outside. the gentle, comforting ambiance was divine. Thanks for making our stay so unique and special.

Decided to celebrate New Years here and the service and quality is excellent. The owners are fantastic! We are staying at the tents. The rooms are beautiful and the views are picturesque. Love the town, love the people, will come back again and again.
