Regular Grind

One issue during weddings is keeping the kids occupied. There is enough open space and playground equipment and friendly cats here to keep the kids occupied for hours. Our family stayed over and the adults enjoyed conversation and activities before and after the wedding. We had our own private party on the porch of one of the cottages, and it turned into a wedding / quiet family reunion that lasted into the early hours of the morning. The kids and adults were fascinated by the solar panels, heat pumps and the artwork throughout the premises. The outdoor wedding and the indoor reception afterward were everything the bride and groom wanted. The place is far enough away from everything to be able to enjoy the woodlands, yet within twenty minutes of a shopping center if you really need it. We will definitely come back here again for other family weddings.

Our big day was made absolutely perfect by having it at The Pump House B&B. As soon as we stepped out of the car and were greeted by a cat, we knew this was the perfect place for our wedding. Doug and Marika were professional, flexible, helpful and overall wonderful people. The venue itself was simply stunning; we hardly had to decorate at all. We let the natural fall colors of Bloomsburg and the sounds of the nearby stream act as our backdrop for a beautiful afternoon and evening of celebration.

The people are really nice and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed and very well thought out. The wedding hall and woods ceremony area are beautiful. Breakfast was great. We had amazing omelettes and the thickest bacon that I have ever seen. This place is really nice.

I have been to this venue twice to cater weddings. Both times the owner has been very helpful and easy to work with. If he treats me this way I can only imagine the way he treats actual event customers. In addition the site is restored and maintained wonderfully.

I visited the pump house as a guest for a wedding. The area is secluded but nice and the ceremony was held right next to the river running through the property. Overall pretty nice, decent staff, but kind of lacking in restrooms.

Doug the proprietor is a fantastic artist, and his work is displayed throughout the BnB. He and his wife were thoughtful and professional. The location was gorgeous and it hosted an excellent venue.
