A nice slice of Fredericksburg. Theyre a little pricier than they used to be, but you can still get 2 dogs and a soda for about 5 bucks. But the beer prices are still great! $2 drafts and $8 pitchers is a pretty sweet deal. Domestic (bud/miller/coors) only, though. Dont expect any microbrews or craft beers here.

I remember Fredericksburg...1969 - 1973...and besides Carls ice cream, one of my best food memories were the chili dogs at the Recreation Center...2 dogs and a cold Coke for about 2 bucks...could not beat that on a summers day...unless you were tubing down the river...glad to see its still there.

Ive been there quite a few times and Ive never been disappointed. Service is super and the people are down to earth and fun to be around. You owe yourself a visit, especially when there is entertainment.

It has an old charm being the oldest running restaurant in Fredericksburg has some good arcade machines to play there
