I took my autistic, 3.5 year old daughter here to see Laurie Berkner. Of the 1 hour show, she had 4 complete meltdowns. The employees were nothing less than gracious in their of handling the situation. They were more than accommodating and really did try to help in anyway possible. Hats off to them for their professionalism & compassion towards a wonderful child who sometimes has problems coping with things/situations that we may take for granted. Because of such a great staff, we didnt feel that we had to leave the concert, and although she was singing & dancing for only 20 minutes total, those 20 minutes meant the world to me and more importantly to her. She carries around the pictures of the concert & explains that she saw Laurie Berkner. Things dont always turn out as positive when facing the demons of autism, but this venue is just amazing and I cannot thank them enough!

I love it any time we go here. The place is great. The staff is pleasant. The seats are nice and comfortable. We have made it part of our routine to go to a show or movie at least once a month, it is our Friday night date night default. Best of all is you get to enjoy the downtown mall too. All the restaurants are right there and we can always do something different.

I love this place. Always a luxurious feeling to the seats and spaces. I most clearly remember a visit during the Olympics, where everyone in town came to watch the opening ceremonies. It was a great moment to have so early on in my time here, because it gave me a good sense of what the community is: caring, resepctful, kind, and lively.

A beautiful theatre in one of the best areas of Charlottesville. Always fun to go to with the an occasional free event. Recently went to go see an interesting lecture on space, and enjoyed it immensely.

Always a great experience. South Pacific was done very well. The theater is very nice, concessions are great, all the volunteers are friendly and helpful. I recommend setting a show here!

Cool historic theater in the heart of Charlottesvilles sort of old school downtowny/walking mall space. Looks great and can hold a very decent crowd of people.

Nostalgia galore. Huge screen for movies and the stage is awesome. Concessions are reasonably priced. Oh, and theres booze, too!
