I only gave 1 star because I had too so I could write this review otherwise it would be - -0 stars. I am very disappointed in the lack of respect this place had for the thousands of people that were there to see Chris Stapleton! After, having the opening act on they made a brief announcement that we needed to find shelter because we had "a line of storms about to hit us in about 10-15 minutes and they should only last about 20 minutes" the only shelter that they could provide was under the tent so that is were we stood packed in like sardines all while thunder, horrible lightening and wind gust is going on, this lasted until 9:30 (1 hour and 50 minutes after the intial announcement) that is when we had enough and decided to leave. Not once did anyone come back and tell us if he was going to play or not, not once did anyone say hey we may reschedule because we value our patrons lives and dont want you standing on concrete next to metal poles and chairs while its lightening, nope not a word from anyone. I valued my life as well as my guest life that I decided to eat the amount I paid for the tickets and leave. Myabe they should have done the same! I will never visit this venue again!!!
I was very disappointed with my experience here. My husband and I spent a nice amount of money because on the map we were supposed to have seats closer to the stage (I even clicked on the spot that we wanted which had the dollar amount on it) . When we got there I asked one of the people who were working the event (Chris Stapleton concert) and their exact words were "VIP tickets get general admission seats". If that is the case then I could of saved $250.00 and sat in the same seat that we did last night! Crooks is the nicest term I can use. Unfortunately, this happened to several people around us!!!!!!! Disgusted to say the least.
Outstanding array of food and alcohol vendors. There is a large standing area directly in front of stage, but due to the highly sloped floor or doesnt block the view from the seating area, which is all interlocked folding chairs. The slope gives each row of seats a good view add well. Sound quality suffers a bit for quieter, "atmospheric" bands since it is a pavilion. There is ample paid parking nearby in various garages, but you can get your parking validated I on of the many stores
My wife and I came here to see Sara Bareilles in July of 2014. We were not prepared for the wonderful experience we had. It is a small, 3,500 seat theater, and its lawn seating is smaller than the actual seating bowl. The acoustics were very good. We were thrilled with the food and drink options. Beers were $6 (were from Baltimore, so thats a steal) and food trucks provided the snacks (more venues should do that!). Overall, if an artist you like is playing here, get tickets!

Visited the Sprint Pavilion to see Willie Nelson live in concert. The venue was well organized, restrooms easy to find and vendors were easy to get to. I thought the venue was going to be larger than it was, but overall, the acoustics of the place were good as was the sound system. Sat in the center of the middle section and seeing the stage was not a problem from any seat there. If you go here to see a show, be sure to get Pavilion seats for the best views.
I saw Daughtry in concert here last July. What a great experience! Its a small venue and I felt like I was in my living room watching him. I live near D.C. and it was worth the 90 min drive to go here. Ill come back for another concert.
Fridays after Five free summer concerts are great. $6 per drink ticket, and plenty of food truck options. Kid friendly. Secondhand smoke can be an issue if you sit on the lawn too close to the surrounding brick sidewalks.
Every Friday in spring to early fall, there are live bands, Beer n wine sold and Good trucks, face painting, family and children friendly as well singles danceing, friends and so much more. And admission is FREE.
A great place in Charlottesville to catch a band outdoors. I would have given it 5 stars but the acoustics are less than desirable.
Great venue with lots of interesting events throughout the year. Good shaded spot to have your lunch on the mall
Seeing big artists here makes it feel very intimate. Beer vendors and small eats are usually available too.

Decent seating arrangement and excellent acoustics. Saw Rodrigo y Gabriela perform here on April 27th, 2012.
Its come a ways since first built, sound is great, always friendly individuals involved in management.
Great venue with a nice lawn and great visibility from the entire venue. Gets a bit hot in the summer
Great resource for the people of the city. The facility can handle large crowds. Fridays at 5 is fun!

Great acoustics and good shows. It can get quite hot in the summer. Some fans would be welcome.
Great live music venue featuring a variety of national acts, plus local music on summer Fridays.
Went and saw Styx and it was awesome. The seats werent full rows 21-25 so they let us sit there
Cool venue! Im glad they sell their own tickets rather than going through a third party
Fun place to watch music shows. Been there a few times and always good experiences.
Great small outdoor venue that hosts big name artists as well as local favorites.
Really nice outdoor venue in the mall. Saw a great show from Portugal the man
