For a Wedding: I had a wonderful experience working with the GWMM. Radka, who manages the space, was always warm, welcoming, and helpful. The other staff were also so very accommodating. The space itself is very striking. Everything is marble or granite. It is a beautiful backdrop for a grand occasion. We paid to have the tower open during the cocktail hour so guests could go to the top and get a birds eye view of Alexandria. You can see down to the Potomac and several of Washingtons monuments. Hotels are right across the street along with the metro. We rented a limo and had it make trips up and down King Street to return guests to their hotels. They loved it!

You just cant miss the opportunity to see this buildings architecture, art, and learn more intimate facts and trivia about the men and women who built this place and what it represents. This is what America is all about. Tours, bathrooms and a gift shop are available. Allowed to linger on most floors but can also go wandering about after or before tour, do so. Many artifacts that are stunning. Must see. The ninth floor offers an observation deck that has breathtaking views of DC, Old Town Alexandria, Potomac River, Rosslyn and....

I liked the place. It has a good view and good place to spend half an hour and walk around, but the annoying thing around here is, there is no parking a small parking space which is always occupied and it is a bit far too. Besides the parking is pretty expensive like New York City. It is also a bit risky area for pedestrians, since there is not proper lining.

Just to see this magnificent building in person is well worth the $3.75 train fare from D.C. I would insist that you take the guided tour; otherwise you won’t get to see most of the museum or go up to the observation deck. I left here feeling as if I had really gotten to know George Washington. Our tour guide was very personable and quite knowledgeable.

Such a fantastic historical site, community partner and lovely and helpful people. I cannot recommend visiting enough! We enjoyed Alexandirias First Night Celebration here with many different and entertaining programs! We had three generations in our party and they accomodated our handicap needs with grace and smiles! Thank you!

Sehr schönes Monument von George Washinton - errichtet von seinen Freimaurer-Brüdern. Definitiv einen Besuch wert, wenn man in der Nähe von Washingtion DC ist.

We took the $15 tour which is the only way to see the exhibits and observatory deck on the upper floors. Very interesting insight to the masonic traditions and history as well as the story of george wasbingtons involvement with the masons. A visit to this location pairs well with the book "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown.

Its a National Historic Landmark that is privately funded by Masons throughout the country. Its a gorgeous building that is dedicated to the memory of George Washington so not only is the place a wonderful memorial but it also has a fantastic museum on Washington and freemasonry.

Provides interesting insights into our founding fathers, and the role Masonry played in their lives. Interesting for non-Masons, and I would expect doubly so for Masons. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took the time to give thoughtful answers to our questions

This is a great memorial held by the Masons. There is a great view from the top of the building, but you have to go on the tour. At this memorial, the masons have dedicated themselves into preserving the memory and historical artifacts of our first president.

A masonic shrine to George Washington a 33rd degree mason, Illuminati Elder, member of the Tarsus Club, and all-around secret society agent. The room with all the Mason costumes is hilarious. View from the tower is impressive.

Decent collection of George Washington artifacts, light on the Masonic sales pitch. The tour was good, but the price is a bit steep considering the alternatives you can find either at the Smithsonian or Mount Vernon.

Wow is all I can say,you do not have to be a freemason to enjoy this attraction. They even have George Washingtons chair inside ans the view from the top is amazing at 333 feet not counting the hill it is on.

It was awesome: two statues of George Washington, a museum and lots of mystical Masonic costumes and symbols to see, even a suit of armor, not to mention the highest view in the area. Very neat!

Very unique building and a place. If you are in the area, recommend to visit. You will get some basics about Mason Lodge and learn great deal about Washington and founding fathers as Freemasons

If you are into rites and funny clothes I guess this is interesting. GW is exhibited better elsewhere and though you get quite high theres not much to see. Definitely not worth 15$.

Amazing view and interesting history, even if you arent the tinfoil hat type. Nice area, too, and easy metro access, but it is up a hill.

Its a nice building inside, but very ugly outside. I also have a predisposition against the Masons so I am not a big fan of the place.
