HORRIBLE!!!! Never again will I book a BIRTHDAY PARTY there!!!! I booked by daughters 1st birthday party there in March and was expecting to have a stress free day at the waterpark but I got the opposite! There were many things that went wrong that day that included: -Poor service by the untrained teenagers that ran the park. -I was not told that the passes given to us included mini golf and batting cages -My child was not given the tube or present that is suppose to be included. - I not not called/emailed a week before the party to go over things (they said they would). -I was put in a shelter that was far away from the water area..I thought by reserving in March I would get a decent area. -The guest had to call me once they arrived to come up and get them and then wait in a long line to get in and be searched. -The food order was wrong and they served the cake and pizza 30 mins before we had to leave the shelter and then was rushed by the staff to leave the shelter before my time was up. Overall, this place needs to hire and/or train someone to handle their birthday parties and large functions. There were many other things that happened that day that were a disappointment to me and my husband and family.

This is the biggest rip off ever!! The prices are astronomical!! There is no reason why anyone should have to pay $15.00 for a child to use a pool that is always crowded, and a couple of water slides that have long lines. On one of the busiest days of the year, they only had 3 people working the ticket counter, so we stood in line over an hour to get our tickets. Also, there is no recognition for veterans on Memorial Day. And even more disturbing is that they search your bags for food and drinks (not glass or alcohol) because they want you to only buy their food. Yet, there are only 2 cashiers and one food stand. If you want to eat their food, you have to wait in line at least 45 minutes to an hour, and you will easily pay $25 for three people (two of which were children). This is not worth the time or money. The pool is so crowded that it is actually a safety hazard. The lifeguards just keep blowing their whistles to the point where no one even responds to them because that is all you hear. The rules are so restrictive, but no one enforces them. This is not where you want to go this summer.

Went there yesterday an hour and half before closing to get the discounted tickets. Paid for them and then we were denied entrance to the park due to their thunderstorm detector, despite no dark clouds or any forecast of a storm. We walked back to the ticket booth and was told we could not get a refund or a rain check. We never even stepped into the park and therefore no services at all were rendered. The high schoolers running the ticket booth said to speak with the manger inside, except that we were not allowed inside and they refused to bring him over. We were told countless times nothing could be done and to leave. Finally, we came across another employee who retrived the manager that issued us a refund. All in all, took 45 minutes to resolve the situation and was astounded by the lack of professionalism of many of the employees. A prior user reported this as an issue 5 years ago, which goes to show they still have not rectified this policy. Seems like a complete scam to take your money but deny entrance.

It was fun there but my friend almost drowned due to the life guards not paying any attention to the swimmers. Before this situation with her growing I almost drowned my self , my otherfriend couldnt help due to the life guards telling her not to pass the red line even though she can swim & if that was the case why let my friend that almost drowned go to 8 ft so I had to save myself but I winded leaving my friend who is on 4 feet & some inches in a tube & she flipped over but luckily some life guards helped as some laughed . Before she even drowned she yelled I cant swim & the life guard told the other life guard & they both laughed .They need more sturdy slides & not to mention some one else hit there head on the slide because life guards not paying attention and he ran up the slide and fell. Then some one pooped in the pool ! Not a good park but it was a little fun.

I dont know what Jessica was talking about. My girlfriend and I went yesterday; a HOT!!! Saturday afternoon. This place was fine! Its not a huge facility but the crowds werent bad. As a matter of fact, just the wavepool and the kiddie area were plenty good enough to play, relax and get some quality time and sun together considering the stifling weather. The food wasnt outrageous (burger/fries/coke for $10 - not shocking, all considered). If I had to complain, Id say they need to replace several of the coin lockers as several are finicky and your hands must be DRY to withdraw the key without you losing your money. Also, I found the artificial turf could be just as hot as the cement. Else, we saw none of the issues others mentioned.

My kids love the place but the wave pool makes me nervous. The wave pool is way too crowded and full of inner tubes. Everyone is bumping into each other and not watching out. Saw so many inner tubes run over the small kids standing in the shallow end. The tubes should not be allowed in the wave pool at all. The small toddler pool was much better but I noticed the life gaurds didnt pay much attention to the splash zone next to it where kids were constantly running and sliding across the blue floor into each other. A kid got hurt and no one came to check him out. My family only visits this place occasionally and it is not my favorite place but it is close by and cheap.

This is a small-ish water park but very convenient to the DC metro area. It is probably comparable with the big-time parks like 6 Flags and Kings Dominion when it comes to food and refreshments rip-offs. I see no reason why one should not be able to bring in ones own food instead of being limited to the nutritionally dubious crap sold here. The entrance price is much lower than the big parks and parking is free. The wave pool is fun but I can imagine it gets very crowded on the weekends. Water slides (there are 5) are fun but even short lines are pretty slow. I thought the lifeguards were diligent and professional.

NOTE: This is about the batting cages, not the water park. Ive never had SO MANY machines just stop throwing balls at me (thats what she said). Ok, so, this place is pretty cheap. Its batting cages, so the prices cant be too high. That said, its also cheap b/c the darn things hardly ever work! Ive hopped around 3 different cages one day just to get one that worked through the entire set of pitches. That said, they do have the normal spread of slowpitch softball to fast-fastball. Its a netted cage, simple..basic. You get the gist ;) My favorite thing? Its about 8 minutes from my house!
