Its sad what this course has become. Played it yesterday and could not believe the conditions. The Fairways were in decent enough shape, but if your tee shot missed the fairway, it was a lost ball. The rough had not been cut in quite some time and with the recent rains that weve had, its caused it to grow quite high. The condition of the traps was horrendous with most of them having grass growing into them and no defined edges. The grass on the tee box was also quite high making it difficult to tee the ball down for the par 3s and on the par 4s where one might want to hit a fairway wood instead of the driver. When I finished playing, I talked to the gentleman working the pro shop and just discussed the condition of the course. He stated that they had two people walk off the job, and that was the reason for it. Im going to apologize in advance here, but that would indicate that the course had fallen into disrepair only recently. This has been a spiral downward over the past couple of years. Sad as the layout is quite good, the scenery when the planes re flying is spectacular and it can be a great golf course. Needs to be sold to a group that has some capital though to do that.

This golf course has unfortunately fallen in to a state of disrepair. The practice facilities are more burdensome than helpful. The driving range has uneven footing on slopes. The putting green has more banks and curves than Augusta, which the greens on the course do not mimic. Finding a flat putt to practice is impossible. The course itself is an interesting track, but very poorly maintained. Theres more grass off the fairway and in some sand traps than on the fairway. The greens are hard, making spinning the ball very difficult, yet they dont roll true and are very bumpy at the same time. The only bright spot are the employees who had on smiles and were very polite. But the golf course is unplayable for anyone with a decent golf game.

I recommend The Falcon Golf course highly! We (our foursome, my GREAT FRIENDS) have played this course at least 200 times over the past 15 years. It is the course you should give a try. The course is long using the back tees. As the years have gone by we have now advanced to the forward tees.It is a course that gives every golfer the opportunity to enjoy their round no matter what their handicap! The price is Always a very good value. If you are looking for a Country Club type of course, this is not for you. If you are looking for a course that you want to have fun with your friends this is it.

So, the old people working there are grumpy and rude. They accused my husband of being on his phone because he missed a small sign that they put outside of a gate when he was focused on driving. Not only that but he had a huge attitude about it. Apparently its open to the public but not really cause its private property. Our mere 5 minute brush with the staff was completely awful. IF you want to golf at a more professional place with kinder staff there are several other places in Phoenix to do it. This place is small anyway, the grounds are wildly kept. Its not even worth the drive out.

We played the course this morning, the staff was friendly and nice and thats why they get even 1 star. This was by far the worst maintained golf course Ive laid eyes on. The sand traps were all unplayable. The grass on the greens was long and they played slow. On a few occasions we moved our balls from the fairway to the rough as the rough was shorter grass the lie better. The price was fairly cheap so I wasnt expecting a lot but this course made me feel as though we were ripped off. In our opinion a course in this shape shouldnt be cheap but closed. Ill never play this course again!

New to area and looking for places to play. Price was right so gave it a go. Course not crowded but we moved at a snails pace due to group in front of us who must have been playing for big bucks or big scores (probably the latter), and who were completely oblivious to me and my husband waiting behind them on every shot. Mercifully finished the front nine in 3 hours and called it quits. As far as the course goes, Ill just say we got what we paid for. We won t be back.

Although the par 3s on this course were good challenges, the sand traps were unplayable and need sand not dirt. The fairways were rock hard not sure if and when they are watered, great if you like seeing your drives roll out over 300 yards. Not surprising green fees are so low. The best scenery on the course is the air force jets flying overhead.

10 of us booked a little bar tournament, at 4:30 on a Thursday, we paid $15.00 each for 9 holes... The course was empty, and we ALL bought beer/snacks.... And we drove 20 minutes to get there from our bar. Grateful for our service? No... The marshal was a dick- twice. We wont play here again.

For the price its a great place to play in the winter. No cart paths, greens are too slow, but if you want to hit the ball and get in some practice hard to beat the price.

Good course for the money. Sand traps need huge improvements. Fairways greens and t boxes are just fine.
