Ive been to this place a dozen times, and have never been fully pleased with the service or the food. Ive seen filthy table cloths, sticky condiments, wobbly tables, etc. Ive had a waiter take over one hour to bring my table our check, and subsequently charge my card twice for items that required me to call and have the restaurant remove the erroneous charge. Ive had a waitresses not have any clue about the menus or the beer selection; some of them arent even old enough to drink, so how can they be expected to serve alcohol to patrons and properly answer their questions. And the last time I went, I swear the air conditioning must have been out, everyone in the place was complaining of the heat in the place, and no one ever fixed the air after repeated complaints, even though we were there for 2 hours. The atmosphere is cool, the live music can be good, and drink specials are ok, but after many chances Ive given this establishment, they wont get my business unless its someone elses request to go there. The place makes it because people in Tyler dont know any better, but this place would not make it a month in a real city or even in Tyler if it had competition.

Amazing food selection and delicious preparation on both our selections. As we were one of maybe 2 other ppl in the entire place, girlfriend and I wondered WHY on earth seat us in the only place thats right next to the tarp thats flapping and leading into the next space where construction is going on. Nails being hammered, drills putting in screws and boards dropping right at that tarp, having my girlfriend and I startle. Mentioned it to our waiter, "yeah, was wondering the same thing, why they sat you here??" really, youre not going to offer if wed love to NOT sit right there?? Juls, ya needa step it up. I will would have anticipated something like this at Dennys, but yalls place??

My first time here and the staff made me feel extremely welcomed! The hostess was accommodating and helped us pick a great seat outside to hear the music. A manager made sure our seats and table were clean before we sat and out waitress was sweet and friendly. The meal was very yummy, but I wish the water would have been cold. The atmosphere outside is beautiful and warm feeling. We did have a slight issue with feeling hot at moments and dealing with a few bugs, however its summer in Texas and we were right by the water. Other than that I had a great time and will be visiting again!

The restaraunt has a great atmosphere that welcomes families, couples and singles alike. There is something for everyone and the environment gives a fresh vibe that makes you feel young and hip. The dishes are Asian fused with American. Of the 10 times I have been to Juls only one time was the food not to standard. The manager took care of the mistake and made us feel important. Juls also has a Cafe which I frequent weekly. Their smoothies are amazing and the ingredients they use in their food are always fresh.

I could not pick one thing wrong with this place. The staff is so wonderful, we were seated in a timely manner, the variety of food options is incredible, the food yummy, and the atmosphere delightful. My husband and I ate on the patio as the sun sat. We ate fried green tomatoes (the best Ive ever had), I ate a burger, and we split a piece of thick red velvet cake. This is the perfect spot to go for a date night, anniversary celebration, or just a night out with the girls.

The service was somewhat slow but the waitstaff cant serve food thats not ready. Two people in our party had to wait over 45 minutes and when the food came it tasted like it had been rolled in grease. Not a pleasant experience at all! Unless there is a change in the management and / or waitstaff, I seriously doubt if I will go back there. The ambiance was wonderful but then you cant eat ambiance.

This used to be Jullians same owner but different location! It has something for everyone! A cafe with great breakfast burritos, make your own salads, hamburgers, sandwiches and all made with fresh ingredients. They have sushi and then a regular menu that is anything other than regular. Great house made cocktails, great beer and great ambiance. Try it out, youll love it!

After living in Richardson Tx for 13 years next to one of the largest Asian restaurant communities in the US, you get spoiled with good Asian food and Sushi! Upon moving to the greater Tyler area, we were referred to Juls...and what a wonderful gem it is! My 11yo and I love the Batman sushi roll, but also really enjoyed the salads and desserts. Excellent!

I used to love this place more than any other. Until I went there Saturday, and the menu had changed so much! It is NOT the same restaurant and quite the disappointment! And the place next door is run by the same company (according to my bank statement) and their food sucks! Bad call on the menu change, Juls.

Went to Juls for the first time tonight finally and I ordered a simple dish of chicken fried rice....it was delicious omygoodness and I didnt find it to be expensive and it was alot of fried rice it could feed two generously. I did order to go but the staff at the counter was beyond nice and now I cant wait to dine in

My favorite dish here is the combination fried rice. I absolutely love the decor and the atmosphere; could possibly be my most favorite restaurant Ive ever been to. I wouldnt take my children here, but it is a wonderful lounge environment that once you step into, you feel like youre not in dull East Texas anymore.

Overall a pretty good place. Good drinks, good food, nice location and setup... questionable music selection (loud loud loud electronic and dubstep sometimes) & sorta expensive for the area. Different from everything else around here... so I guess youre just paying for the experience. Worth it? Four stars.

I went to Julians a little more than a year ago and cannot think of any reason to go back. The food was overpriced and below average. This place is way too busy being impressed with itself to be impressive. Of course I am only referring to the restaurant- maybe the lounge delivers a better experience.

Not got going to get any better. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is great. Very modern. You walk in and feel like you are in a restaurant in a bigger city. Drinks are fantastic. Matt runs a great place and keeps improving it all the time. Check this place out for sure you will not be displeased.

This was our first time eating at Julians. The food was good. Atmosphere was nice (we sat in the dining room). Service was great! We mentioned to the waiter that it was our first time eating there and he offered us a free appetizer of our choice. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Honestly, horrible. It tries to be way too fancy for its own good and fails. The sandwichs bread was so hard and rough that it hurt/scratched the roof of our mouths to eat and for the sushi, just go to Wasabi/Shoguns/Yamatos. Its better there and you get what you pay for.
