Had the worst experiance ever there! The door guys were friendly and that was about it. We visited during a concert ($40 per ticket) First order, we walked up to the bar after some girls got served and left. Bartender yelled "the line is over there". After moving up the line to finally place the order, she served everyone around us. Therefore, the question we asked was, what happened to the line? Her reply was, she could only take one order at a time. I was asking my date what she had sad, since I couldnt hear her well. Then the bartender chimes in with, what is that. So I just placed my order. My date told me that she felt the girl has been rude. Then the girl again chimed in, what was that? So we pointed out, that we had been standing at the bar and she told us to get in line. After we got to the bar she had not been taking our order. The girl complained about her time being wasted. And continued to tell us not to get back in her line after bringing the drinks. Ill paid the tab and asked for a receipt. She said she cant print one without a manager. So I asked her to get him. She returned and said he was busy and it will be a while... I did get the receipt but she made sure I couldnt talk to him. There were other incidences with some of their other staff members which I think doesnt need to be addressed. You are getting the picture. Paying $40 per concert ticket and up to $400 per table, one can expect a much better treatment. Simply since it was unjustified! To say the very least, you will never find me in this establishment again

Nice setup. Huge parking lot right off freeway. Lots of police security. Has an outdoor seating area serving $6.00 brisket sandwiches all night. You dont even need to go inside the bar. Saturday night $8.00 cover for guys. Girls are free. 8pm to 10pm $1.50 beers makes up for the cover charge. I am not a country bar fan and one reason is other guys asking my girl to dance. Its weird. Anyway, this did not happen here. Many couples of all ages. Bachloret parties and birthday parties happening. Pool tables, a mechanical bull with a rodeo clown and several bars scattered around make anywhere a good place to sit. Huge dance floor. Bathroom is large and clean. It has an attendant. Very nice man. Tip him. Upstairs is another bar looking down on the pool tables, mechanical bull and bar. Karaoke on the second floor. Also, a large private party area that looks down on the dance floor. Four stars because the place is so loud that you have to scream to talk. We constantly had to repeat ourselves. There are no quiet areas outside the bathroom or actually going outside. Overkill on the line dancing. Karaoke dj sang with the singer and played hip hop between two country karaoke songs. No one seemed interested. If you like country bars this is a must. If you dont like country bars this is a place you can tolerate. If you like karaoke I wouldnt rule this one out, but have a backup plan.

I love this place has fireball shots that are 250 on Friday and they always have concerts every month with great talents of part is that you would want to see in an intimate setting. They also have free dancing lessons if you get there super early enough like 8 oclock I never get there this early but I always see the remnants of the dance lessons and they seem to learn pretty well. Place is big and open and want to gets back you still feel like youre not squished like a sardine in their home has great areas like pool tables, bull riding and karaoke. To me its a combination great little honky-tonk plus concert venue

Worst experience ever at a bar. Do not recommend going here if you have a large group. I decided to host a company party here and had about 30 ppl show up, but was only allowed to have 1 bucket or 6 beers at the table at a time. My whole night was spent waiting in line to buy 1 bucket at a time. Wait staff was awesome, and also the environment was really relaxed. Would definitely go back with just my wife and i but never host a party here ever again. And I was looking forward to showing everyone how awesome Stampede was, but you completely failed me.

I went one night, was told that you cant have stools at the bar. Scooted the stool to the wannabe cowboy employee and was asked to leave because he didnt like how I "pushed" it at him. Overly sensitive staff, lots of posers, ghetto area. Tejano joint next door. Basically main punchline is that its a large venue (nearly identical to the one next door, just a different flavor) and thats it. Big waste of money. Dont waste your money. Go down the road to stetsons. Smaller venue but you get a better atmosphere. Thats where youll actually have fun

Be forewarned that smoking IS allowed inside the venue! I got sick from secondhand smoke after attending a concert here - developed sinusitis, an ear infection and laryngitis, missed several days of work and finally had to see a doctor. Needless to say I will not be returning, no matter who is performing. It is not worth the drive anyway when there are live country music venues inside the loop that attract a better class of people and keep out the under 21 kids.

It was a GREAT concert with Merle Haggard! It was packed! Stampede is the best club in Houston to see a live concert. It is such a big place to have a concert and you also have a dance floor. I am looking forward to the future concerts and great artists. Stampede employees care about customer service and take pride in their work keeping Stampede the "BEST" country bar in Houston. I recommend anyone that has not been to Stampede, go and see for themselves!

My friend and I drove 45 miles to go to this bar. I started talking to the Latin security gaurd on Friday July 28 2017. I was joking with him about the club next door. And i said if INS would come they would have a field day. He said i offended him because he is illegal. I said oh my bad. He asked if i was a trump supporter. I said yes. Then a few minutes later he had my friend and i thrown out. I was shocked i will never go there again ever

If you dont have to come here, I wouldnt. Its a large venue with plenty of space inside thats about the only perk. It takes forever to get any bartender to tend to you on a busy night. If there are acts youve been dying to see, I would come here but otherwise skip it. People smoke inside and its overly crowded. Theres a franchise feel to the place. The drinks are ok, not relaly cheap nor expensive. Ive been to much better country bars.

Very disappointed in this place. Heard great things. Bartenders were great for how big the crowd was but still took forever to get a drink. Horrible atmosphere! It was packed and the roof was leaking from the rain outside and you literally couldnt move around at all after the performer came on. Rude people and long wait for the bathroom too. I probably wont be back unless I reserve a tabel upstairs.
