I have had a few friends do iFly in various cities, but I have never done it myself. At a recent group outing to the San Antonio location, I was treated to the experience of a lifetime! I have always been leery of skydiving, but want to attempt it at some point and though this is not the same thing, it was a great gateway to overcoming that fear and "taking the plunge!". I loved how fun, yet professional, the entire experience was. While you are waiting for your scheduled group time, you can see other in the tunnel or the instructors performing all sorts of aerial tricks and maneuvers while in the wind tunnel. Before your "flight", you do a quick little briefing in this little classroom where you watch a video and your instructor gives you an overview of what to expect when you are in the tunnel and the hand signals to communicate. After the briefing you get fitted for your flight suit, helmet, goggles, earplugs, and if you have flip flops, they can loan you close-toed shoes. You then enter the flight chamber and one by you take your 90sec of flight-time! You get two chances to fly and the first time is more of a learning opp where you get the feel for it. The 2nd time is where you really enjoy the experience and have some fun. If you do the "high fly" the instructor takes you to the top the of tunnel and drops down with you a few times. I was not brave enough for this, but might be on my next flight! They take pics and video for you to purchase after your flight to commemorate your experience. You even get a flight certificate! It was so much fun and after I got over my nerves, I had a blast! Jarred was such a great instructor and made everyone feel instantly safe and comfortable!

I have not even had a flight yet, and this has been one of the WORST experiences I have ever had. 1. NO warning about being filled/packed before driving all the way there 2. NO warning that you MUST make a reservation BEFORE you fly. No reservation -- BYE! 3. NO ability to make a reservation within the building. Was told to leave and call phone number from their website. 4. NO warning on webpage that a RESERVATION is REQUIRED! Nowhere. A total waste of time and energy. Such a shame. Maybe they will figure out how to run a business properly in the future.

This really was the flying experience I was looking for. Our instructor Dave was super fun and made it even more enjoyable. The service was a bit confusing as we have never been before and were not told step by step what to do for check in but I felt very safe and secure after watching the "safety video" and instructions. The high fly is a MUST for 10 more dollars and you can buy your videos online. A truly weightless expereince- if you have never been and dont mind a medium-high price range, I would seriously recommend you try it!

I took my daughter for her birthday. We had so much fun! The staff are great there. It is pricey but totally worth it. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because we had trouble receiving the photos and videos (paid for extra ones at the kiosk and never got them in my email) and once we finally received them, we didnt get any photos and only one video of each of us and the one of my daughter wasnt the video of the high fly (which cost extra to do). We are bummed we didnt get that video but otherwise an awesome experience!

Had my daughters birthday party here last Saturday. Spencer was the instructor and he was awesome!!!!. Made all the girls feel comfortable and and answered all questions and concerns during instruction. Spencer really took the time with each of the girls during their flights, and all of them really enjoyed their flights. I highly recommend Spencer if your considering flying here!! The party room was great and our hostess Jennie did a great job. It was a wonderful experience and the girls had a super time flying!!!!

It was the best day ever for my two girls. The experience is clearly out of this world but the staff go above and beyond to make it a wonderful and safe adventure. Tony a flight instructor at San Antonio site gives such a personal touch of excitement for his flyers and I felt such confidence in him to take my youngest barely 7 to the top which she is still talking about 5 days later. Anna the sales manager insured I day will never be forgotten. Great place great people.

Was charged $18 for a high flight that should only cost 10$ just because the guy didnt know what the register did. Couple of the people there should not work at Ifly. Emo girl with a hat smacking her gum looking like she has better things to do. She had no customer service skills and was completely rude. My flight instructor was 100% kind and educated me with everything I needed to know.

The staff are experienced skydivers and very frenziedly. The make it easy to purchase private coaching lessons from them as well and do a great job of following up with what you need to practice. This is definitely a place I have returned to and will continue to return to when i need more training but on the ground. lets go Skydiving! ...no for real.. Lets go jump out of a plane!

Great Experience! Went with my nephew, had a blast! Josh Seery was great, if you have the option, get him as your instructor. Hell have you flying right in no time! One note, bring a good set of earplugs, even with the foam ones they give you youll probably get a small headache. Would definitely go again.

The design of the facility is very open, with plenty of sitting. The bathrooms were clean and there is even a water fountain in case you get thirsty. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The instructor was totally amazing. I am definitely coming back to this place!

It was so fun! The instructors are awesome and try to make the most of your minute of flight. Less expensive then actual ski diving but still a little pricy which is why rates 4 instead of 5. Definitely something id do again for a birthday party or date! SO FUN!

This place was great to go with friends or family the only thing I will Warren you about they have flashing lights so if you suffer from seizures or epilepsy I would not recommend going into this space there are no warnings on their website or at the front door

I was super nervous, but the flight instructors make sure that you know everything you need to know and they keep you on track the whole time. I saw every age and body type move through the wind tunnel successfully... it really is fun for everyone!

Expensive but worth it as a treat for kids or those who do to want to jump into the real thing. Go on your birthday for a bonus, in our case a high flight add on otherwise costing $10, which you must do since its the highlight of the experience.

I went to ifly for my birthday with some friends. It was a memorable experience. Our trainer was helpful and informative. I couldnt think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than with an adrenaline rush. I definitely plan on going back.
