Some people say that this is the oldest mini golf in the country but all we care about is how amazingly fun this place is. They are very laid back so we bring drinks and go from hole to hole having a great time. We sometimes get passed by a family full of energetic kids having a wiley time and I hope they do both courses and wear themselves out. The courses have all sorts of things you never see anymore like jumping over water, aiming for one hole that leads to underground tunnels where the ball can come out in different places and some are even three levels! There are some holes you have to WHACK the ball so hard it almost feels like a driving range since it has to make it up an incline that is so long and steep or so long and curved you can end up having the balls come back again and again until you finally knock that sucker hard. This is definitely a family place and they have picnic tables where you can set your things, but were a normal couple (between young and old) who love just being together surrounded by all the lush plants, beautiful and historic landscaping, and playing a game together. My wife would disagree and say that it is her job to annihilate my score, but we always have a great time. I think this is one of the best kept secrets in San Antonio and if you have not been this year, youre going to have to keep an eye on the website for the next time they are open or next season. Until then my friends, your seething jealousy of our pure joy and entertainment will just have to reinforce your motivation to go there next chance you get next season.

Ive lost count of the number of times my friends and I have gone to Cool Crest Miniature Golf over the years to enjoy one of the most unique recreational spots in San Antonio. It boasts 2 18-hole courses (I prefer the older, 1939-era course to the right when you first come in) that kids of all ages can play. I really like the lush foliage and - get this - the old-timey Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby tunes that play throughout the place. Its Art Deco / the 1950s all over again! Awesome place to bring your family, your date, or your BFF just to hang out for a while. Its Cool - check it out!

I loved the courses. Prices were reasonable too. The surrounding area is an older area of SA... i know some may feel out of place or as some would call it ghetto. Its just located in a smaller older area that looks slightly run down. I mean no offense. But its a great mini golf place.

Yes its historical but it is the best set of courses Ive played anywhere and the staff are vet helpful. If you enjoy mini golf, you must give them a try. You are sure to be thrilled and have the best time as long as you have any fun company along.

We usually enjoy it but yesterday there was a dude spraying the place for mosquitoes while we were on the course. He said it "fine" but he was wearing a mask. I told my kids well come back another time and asked for a refund.

Its a nice place to play some miniature golf. Six of us were out there playing and had a great time. They have two courses to play on. We played on one. We all left with smiles on our face. Good times.
