The course is great. The greens and fairways are fantastic. The views are great. The reason I gave three out of five is because the staff have attitude. I looked back over a few reviews and that issue has been reported before, so Im guessing its a problem. It certainly was for me. I bought a round of golf for two at a charity event. Called and made arrangements for a tee time. When I show up "Matt" asks for a copy of my document, so I give him a picture of the document that I took with my phone. He proceeds to tell me this isnt acceptable and they need the original document. I ask him to speak with the person who offered the charity package and he tells me, "You can talk to him but hes going to tell you the same thing." Look, I have no problem turning in the document, in fact, it makes sense. My problem was that it wasnt on the document. If it had said, "MUST BRING DOCUMENT FOR REDEMPTION", then I would have brought it. Also, no one said anything about this when I called and booked my tee time. Either one of those opportunities would have been superior to telling me that we cant golf 10 minutes before tee time. Also, there was no attempt to solve the problem on their part, no suggestions on how we can "fix" it. The feeling was basically, "Tough break, buddy" or "Too bad, pal." Seriously? Totally unacceptable for a supposed high end course. There are a number of solutions that we could have come up with to solve the problem and still golf at that time. Ill probably golf here again, but wanted to make sure and post that the people at this course have an attitude. And to be quite frank, I think there are other courses in San Antonio that are a better value. And as for customer service, well, I got better customer service at San Pedro golf.

Course is great - 4 to 5 stars. Terribly mismanaged. So overbooked that the pace of play was over 5.5hrs...thats after the starter said the pace of play is 4 hours 15 minutes. We waited 10-15 minutes between each shot. Not enjoyable to play what-so-ever. Our GPS on our cart also was not working making the blind shots just about impossible. I have a hard time giving a course as nice as this 2 stars but the rating is for the experience I had there. Theres no reason to play there if you want an enjoyable round. And for the price you pay, thats not the experience you expect to take away.

Amazing! Quite possibly thee most scenic and best course in the south Texas region. Rich or poor, every golfer must play this course at least once a year. Im poor, and Ill tell you that what I paid was worth every dime that I had to work for it. P.S. Its not just the course Im talking about, its the service as well: from beginning to end everyone shows an interest in you. The ladies are NOT stuck up.

Course was in great condition. Plays extremely fair and the guiding sticks they place on the fairways help immensely on the blind shot holes. The staff was professional and courteous. The beer cart came at least 2 times per side. The views were amazing. Loved the course. You can get reasonable rates $75 on golf now. Ill play here again. It owes me a few strokes.

Beginner golfer. I received a great discount on "Golf Now" and wanted to try this course with a friend. We spent the whole time praising the beauty of the course. It does have a few narrow fairways and about three or four holes with blind shots from the tee. I think Ill return next month. Its a must play for anyone who likes the Texas Hill Country views.

Steve the starter and all the staff were all so professional and helpful. The course was awesome! We had a wonderful time and will be back. Visiting from MN. So we are picky about good golf. Had a foursome of all different skill levels and had an awesome day. Great that they had the ladies tees up where they should be for our 2 ladies. Very fair.

This was my very first visit. Gorgeous place, nice hidden secret in San Antonio. Im visiting from Illinois and my family lives here. Came to purchase some golf shirts and golf caps. Lunch was delicious and the view was amazing! My sister and I had a lovely time. Thank you very much. We will be back again!! :-)

Awesome course, from tee to green in excelent shape, a few blind shots and a lot of elevation changes make it tough, but playable. Great views!! From the minute you arrive to when you leave, they treat you great. Drinks and food a little pricy, other than that...highly recomend this course!!

Fast greens, true rolls, but watch the grain! If putting into it, youve got to have good speed or youll leave it woefully short. The 9th and 18th holes are great finishing holes. Cant wait to go back! There were a couple traps I came out of that had little sand in them.

I went with my aunt and it was BEAUTIFUL! Theres a vast amount of land and every while or so there are restrooms and a containor of Gatorade/water/soda Its pretty cool! I highly recommend going here!!

Better eat before you get here if you are playing in the morning. Nothing but Sara-Lee muffins and coffee. Staff have an attitude and are somewhat unsophisticated to the point of being clueless.

Very nice course to play. Would have given it 5 stars, but the price of the green fees knock it down (Just a bit). Finishing hole is great. Pace of play can be an issue.
