Silverhorn is one of the best golf courses in San Antonio. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are always in great shape. Yes, there are plenty of trees but if you keep the ball in the short grass you can usually score pretty well. The layout is totally fair and requires a bit of skill with nearly every club in your bag. The staff really caters to the senior golfer with fair prices and free drinks at the turn. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and always take my out-of-town golfer buddies here when they visit good old S.A.

Played twice this week. Never seen a golf course drain as well as this one did after the flood on monday. I played tue and thursday morning. This course is as well maintained as some of the country club courses I play in Dallas. Great staff. Plays in 4 hours. I plan on making this a must play course every time I come to San Antonio. There is nothing negative to say about the course, price or staff. Great job Silverhorn staff!

Heres my only gripe with silverhorn... it changes owners every 5 years it seems and every new GM thinks they can reinvent fire and theyve discovered the wheel (meant to be funny). Seriously... its golf. Treat your employees like theyre family, worship the ground the Agronomist walks on and dont charge for a cup of ice or water... really??!! The course is always in great shape!

This was the fourth course that Ive played since moving to San Antonio, and it was the best value (vs Hyatt Hills, Brackenridge and The Quarry). Narrow fairways that are lost balls with lateral misses. Plenty of trees to make you feel secluded even when its busy. Round took 3.5 hours. Itll definitely be one of my regular courses.

The rates are good! course is beautiful and the staff is friendly. However, the pace of play is ridiculously slow. They offer tee times every 8 minutes but the card indicates each hole is 15 mins, which is true so the course is jam packed. Weve had the same experience last 3 visits to silverhorn.

I need to play Silverhorn again to make up my mind. Seemed over challenging, but I probably should have hit it straighter.A busy place with lots of golfers; the back 9 seemed grand as you "Get lost" in the hill country with creeks and arroyos everywhere. The greens were great. Playing it again.

Its a very pretty area and is in very good condition but didnt like the length of play and the customer service. Also was amazed at what they charge for food and beverages - it was almost like a pro sporting event.

If you want to test your golf game, this golf course offers challenging holes with great views. Greens are always in great shape. Good rates and deals everyday. It also have a great clubhouse for parties.

Well manicured course has some tight fairways. Greens were punched and top dressed and we still paid over $200 for 3 players with carts. Wasnt worth the money today.

One of my favorite local courses. Good groundskeeping and intereating layout. Pace of play can be slow at times and charging for a warmup bag is a little weak.
