Had a girls weekend for my Birthday and we went to Bernhardt to do a wine tasting. Three of us had been there before and couldnt wait to take our other friend. We paid to do 4 tastings. We were told that there was not any available tables at the moment but to hang out in the lobby and that they would come and get us......... well 45 minutes later we are still sitting there and watching as they are taking other people back. When finally enough was enough we go back to the counter to ask for a refund and the employee that had originally checked us out tried to spin it that it was OUR FAULT that we didnt come back up and remind them. Last time I checked I wasnt the one being paid to do a job. I was paying you to give me a service. She then told us they were ready for our tasting we said no we would just like our money back. She then said well let me give you a glass of wine on the house we said no thank you we just want our money back. At that point after sitting there for 45 minutes we just wanted to go. Had she not tried to spin it that it was our fault maybe things would have been different but dont try and make the customers out as the ones to blame.

It is unfortunate that the employees or whoever was working over the weekend, didnt take advantage to sell or promote their wines, condiments, or gifts for sale. We drove over an hour and a half to get there, and to only spend no more than 15 to 20 minutes sampling wine, which when poured into the glasses, was enough for one to two sips, no food offered other than the oyster crackers which most of our party of 13 devoured as we were starving. Pretty disappointing, and we cannot help but think that maybe the service wasnt as helpful as this event was a raffle gift won from a school function. We were not offered a tour of the place. AGAIN, everyone in our party drove over 1.5 hours to get there. We did manage to purchase some bottles of wine from the event, but would have bought more, if anyone who worked there would have stuck around and asked us if we had any questions, as we had wine lovers who were excited about this event. I would not recommend the time, gas and energy it takes to visit this facility.

My fiance and I got married here and we are so happy with how things went!!! The wedding package was wonderful and took away most of the stress/work involved in planning such an important event. Jerry and Jeannette are fantastic people to work with!!! They helped us with the rehearsal and took care of every single detail. Everything went according to plan, our wedding was perfect and everyone got to enjoy the day with friends and family- no stress at all. We stayed in the bed and breakfast and just loved the peaceful scenery & great wine :-) ps the summer concerts ROCK

This winery is THE place to be! From their friendly, down-to-earth service to their summer concert series, there is always something to do and enjoy - even if its simply their beautiful grounds! I was married at the winery in 2011 and we definitely got more that we paid for. My husband and I have stayed in the onsite Bed and Breakfast on a few occasions and have always truly enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend visiting this winery.

We visited this winery recently and we really enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and the wine was tasty. They have a ton of very nice outside seating and we met some friends there and had an excellent picnic on one of the patios and enjoyed a brisk January Texas day. They are also dog friendly which is awesome. If you are in the Conroe area and want to taste some good wine I highly recommend stopping in here.

Its a beautiful location and the wine is pretty good (the Sarah is great!) but the staff was rude. It makes me sad to say that, but its like they didnt want to be there. From the lady at the front counter to the wine tasting lady in the back- they just seemed so unfriendly. Huge disappointment for such a promising winery.

Showed up on Sunday, unloaded all of the stuff for our picnic and they say that they have private party. I mentioned that I checked website and called and there was no mention of them not being open to public. They responded that "it is there somewhere". Not serious way to do business this way in my opinion

Really friendly wonderful owners and staff! The wines I find preferable over Messina Hof. You can bring a picnic, chairs and your friendly dog (just dont forget doggy doody bags :) The only thing missing is a flower garden(s). But maybe they dont want to deal with the bees?

A great place to listen to live music and sip some good wine as my wife and I have done on many occasions! The owners also toast to the setting sun, quite spiritual and way cool! This is one of our most favorite places to go and have made many great memories..

Jerry and Jeri have worked extra hard to make a GREAT place! The bed and breakfast room is fantastic. The wines are very good - loved the Aggie Blush! And the scenery - a great spot for an outdoor wedding or a weekend concert (which they do often).

Lovely place! The winery is in a beautiful location, very well kept. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and the friendly service. Seems to be under rated. We will definitely be back for one of their events.

A nice winery with friendly people. I tasted several wines and I liked most of them. I didnt know actually that there were Texas wines. I recommend a visit to this place. Michiel from the Netherlands

Visited here as part of the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail. Friendly staff, and the two wines we tasted (pinot grigio and merlot) were smooth and delicious. Beautiful landscape.
