Horrible experience! The reservation we made was for 2 conjoining rooms for $55 a night. We even made an extra note to inform the hotel ahead of time we would need rooms side by side. When we got there, they had no rooms left that were next to each other outside, so they had to put us in rooms inside, which to our surprise were $75 a night instead. When I asked about the rate change, the employee was very rude in response. We paid, waited for our room keys and unloaded our vehicle. When we walked into the “atrium” area, it was so humid and uncomfortable that it felt like a lifetime before we got to our rooms. The pool was green and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. When we got to our rooms, they were very stuffy and smelled like smoke. Thank goodness they had a working air conditioner! The cable to the TV was not connected and was behind the heavy dresser, had to have maintenance come and move the dresser out to reconnect it. Signs in the atrium for the pool clearly stated that children under 12 needed supervision. Didn’t think this would be a problem for us since the girls with us were all 13, but apparently it’s still an issue. After 2 ½ hours of the girls swimming, the same maintenance man who had been walking through the same area the whole time, decided they needed to have supervision and sent them back to the room and told them they needed to bring someone back with them if they still wanted to swim. There were 2 towels in the queen double room and 1 towel in the king room we were in, so we called to request more towels. They brought us 2 towels the first time. There were 6 guests total so we needed more towels. We called for more and they brought us 2 more 2 hours later. The bathroom door did not close all the way; you had to struggle with it to close it. Once it was closed it rattled against the frame. The toilet ran all night long. The shower knobs did not work when you twisted them, I called the front desk again and waited almost an hour before I got up and figured it out myself. Twisting wasn’t enough, you had to push the knobs in and twist at the same time to get the water to work for the hot and cold. The tub filled up in the time it took to get washed up and by the time I was done, I still felt dirty. The ironing board was broken in the king room, and there were exposed wiring everywhere! There is a bar in this hotel that stays open until 2 am. We could hear the music until it closed, kept us all up. So we slept in and missed breakfast. Horrible place! In the morning when we were checking out around 11 am, they were already telling people who were swimming in the pool that they were out of towels. Will never go near this place again.

Good Afternoon, I am writing in regards to a hotel that I recently stayed at after a recommendation via Priceline. I stayed at the Koko Inn in Lubbock, TX and was incredibly disappointed and appalled. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke the entire time. Sometimes it smelled and felt like someone was smoking right by my side. There were burn marks on the sheets, covers, the couch, and even the bathtub. There were electrical cords to the lamps that had tape to connect two live wires. There was no microwave, fridge, or even a hair dryer or iron. The old tv was fuzzy the entire time and seemed like the cable was about to go out. Several buttons on the remote control were not functioning either. Also, I called a day prior to make them know I was traveling with pets. The phone attendant assured me she would add it onto my reservation, yet when I was leaving they wanted to charge me more even though I called ahead of time. The pool water was murky, dirty, and unfiltered. Finally, the pictures were misleading to say the least. I would not recommend this to anyone. Beware, you have been warned.

The people there treated me like I was an alien. I guess because I am not a regular I wasnt regarded as important but that shouldnt make a difference I my book. The woman bartender with her gray lipstick was very rude and treated me like the woman I came with and I were annoyances when all we wanted were some drinks. Worst experience of my life. Please avoid if you want to be respected as a human being. Unless youre as ugly as the bartender.

This hotel is nothing like any pictures u might find on the internet. It is horrible! Stains all over bath tub.. Dirty sheets.. A/C barely works.. Had to buy box fans to keep temp at comfortable level. Room is supposedly not smoking but is filled with aroma of a smoker. All this.. Not to mention the lack of security and "interesting" activities that take place in the parking lot all night.. Stay Away! Stay Away!

I booked this hotel because it was the only one left unbooked in Lubbock. I will not stay here again it was not a quiet stay thank to the live band in the bar that was right across from the room I was put in, and I swear I saw someone getting "customers". The rooms carpet felt nasty under my feet, and it was just not a comfy stay. Will book in Plainview if this is the only hotel in Lubbock available.

This place dropped our room when we showed up past midnight after we called in the first place to ask if it was ok. Nothing was stated about us coming in after midnight that our room would be dropped. So we had to pay a greater fee. Then once we stayed two people got bed mite bites all over their bodies. When called to speak about our experience the owners denied that we stayed there.

The rooms were the most disgusting rooms I had ever stayed in. I was so grossed out that I never took my socks off, slept under the covers, and I never went outside. Do not stay here at all costs. I was with my school but if I hadnt been I would have slept in my truck. The bar never shut down all night and it was very loud all night long.

I love the vibe. there is no place like home the indoor pool. you must come and join the the love and the welcome of love is at the coco inn. Note ; Americans are ungrateful and and we have forgotten the grace and mercy of make yourself at home. I have been around for years and this community is improving with a help and hand. Welcome

This place looks nothing like a hotel. It looks more like a slums/projects. Bed creaks, rusted tub, stained carpet, non working TV remote, etc. The first room they assigned to me was filthy and I demanded another. The second was only marginally better. I could continue with this but I think you get the idea.

This hotel was recommended to me by Freightliner when my truck was broke down....it cost $50 a night and is only worth $0.01 a night. I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy......rooms look like they have never been cleaned and after taking a bath I still felt dirty.
