This park is older and off the beaten path offering ample parking, community activities, two playgrounds (one is wheelchair accessible), a community garden, softball field, picnic areas with grills, pavilions, open parkland, treed parkland, walking trail, bike loop, soccer fields, tennis courts, and basketball courts along with actual restrooms and water fountains. The park sees lots of use year round but also is large enough to accommodate people without feeling over crowded.

Great park! the merry-go-round is the best thing! Hard to find anymore because all of the lame asses who dont want their kids to have any fun. Yall are the reason these are so hard to find. I fell off that merry-go-round as a child and look at me, here today writing this. My kids fell off this merry-go-round as well. If you are so worried about it, get off your phone and keep your kid away from it. Great place for a picnic or a walk, too.

Nice park, lots of space. Special event handling used to be top notch but 4th of July 2017 was a nightmare. They queued up the crowds in a long line on the street which is a terrorist driving a UHauls dream. They also put up a fence with minimal security to force the crowds to exit in a few locations which is a terrorist with automatic weapons dream. Poorly planned and even more poorly executed.

Awesome park to go to - LOTs of shade, LOTs of open areas for football, soccer fields, volleyball, decent bathrooms, etc. Went over Easter weekend so it was crowded and parking was difficult but not too bad. Good alternative to Brackenridge Park for Easter celebrations. It is in Leon Valley though, so mind the speed limit and the parking signs - they WILL ticket you!

I have some of my greatest high school memories playing soccer and basketball with my friends here. The soccer field really really needs to be redone, potholes and anthills all over the place. One might even condemn it as dangerous. But the park itself is very friendly and looks to have a strong youth sports community.

Many picnic spots here, most of them very well shaded. There is a lot of open space, soccer fields, sand volleyball, horseshoes, etc. The playground is fenced in, has areas for smaller and bigger kids, isnt overtly dangerous as long as you steer clear of the merry-go-round, and has lots of shaded seating for parents.

The kids love this park. On a 1-5 scale: Safety - 3.5 (only because it is up against a row of houses) Food/Party Amenities - 4 Recreation Amenities - 4 Dog-friendly - 4 (no dedicated dog park) Cleanliness - 5 (no garbage or anything) Bathrooms - (didnt use)

Love this park. There is a decent track with workout stations near the back. Also an off track trail for hiking that you can usually see deer from. Several jungle gyms for the kids to play on as well as basketball courts and tennis courts.

This is a nice big park with a lot to do. It has multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, a pavilion, sports fields, basketball courts, a walking/jogging path, and a community garden. Pretty well kept and generally full of family oriented people.

Large park with paved walking trail, two playgrounds, and ample parking. Several sports areas to practice in and shaded picnic Tables for a quick snack. The large playgrounds tend to get crowded but otherwise the park is quite nice.

My partner and I meet up here from time to time. Great memories of basketball, frisby throwing, jogging, along with a little teenage play. They also have a garden. Its not a huge park but it sure feels safe and relaxing.

Great little park. Exercise track. Kids playground, basketball and tennis court. Open field for football and soccer. Oh and softball field. I forgot about the picnic tables a pavilion. All that and a community garden.

Seems the park is more interested in catering to the vendors than to the residents. Came for 4th of July and could not even bring in water bottles. So much for a free America. There is an irony in all this to laugh at.

Wish they would put up some lights for qhen its dark out. The parking lot gets kind of sketchy at night. Pretty sure i saw a couple of drug deals. During the day the track is great and they have a nice playground

Good little spot to walk or run at lunch and get some fresh air. Not someplace if drive much out of the way for, but a restful little park. When waters are high the stream flows past especially lovely.

Great place for the family, sports team, birthday parties , cook outs,. Lots of space. Great trails. Awesome events like fireworks for July 4th. Jazz festivals. Movie in the park. Love this place.

Lots of picnic tables and bar b que pits. Nice pavillion for private parties. Has more than one playground for the children. Lots of space to play football, soccer, basketball and tennis.

Kind of packed all the time, but the walk way is great. I wouldnt let my daughter play on the play ground though, the kids looked rough. To each their own. It was a nice either way.

Its a nice park for the kids to play. Has plenty of picnic tables and a couple pavilions, soccer fields, basketball courts, and so much more. Its always clean when we go too.

Nice park to walk but the city could so much more with it. Full of potholes and uneven ground. A LOT of empty space used for nothing. What a waste.

Serendipity Flowing

The playgrounds are nice, there is a community garden, and deer are protected here. This park is an urban jewel in ecological preservation.

What a fun park. It needs some repairs and reconditioning, but that wont stop you from having a good time. Also check out the nature trail!
