Unless you already live in Irving, this is not worth driving very far to visit. The park is definitely geared towards the PreK/Toddler crowd. We brought elementary age students and they were bored quickly. All the animals were in small pens/enclosures. They were allowed to go into a fenced in concrete pad to pet some goats, but everything else was trying to stick a hand through a chain link fence to pet whatever. While it was free & very shady, this is not a place for older children.

This park is wonderful, only open 2 months in the summer and is staffed by volunteers. It is very well shaded and there are plenty of areas to picnic. I would say the best ages are for under 1st graders and in small groups. It is perfect for play dates, mothers groups and homeschool preschoolers.

it says its open online but its not. I havent seen this place open in years but i sometimes hear about people going . I cant get any information because the phone just continues to ring with no answer or voicemail

Very upset that I drove over an hour to visit this park and its closed. On Google, it clearly reflects this park is open until 6p today;( A day for my granddaughter and I planned out, now cancelled:(

I thought this place was closed down. What a surprise to see that its open and fully operating. The staff is super friendly and informative. Why didnt I do this as a kid? Oh and its FREE!

Petting zoo was great for the kids. The zoo attendants were very kind to the kids and seemed to love what they were doing. Madeline showed true concern for the kids.

Free and fun for the whole family. It may be a bit small, but the quaintness of the place adds to the charm. A must visit!
