Females BEWARE!! I attended 8th Annual NYE Ball and believe I was drugged. The entire situation was fishy. I am 37 years old and not a novice drinker, neither is my husband. Around 1:30am after only 3 drinks my husband was told he had to leave because he stumbled going out the door to smoke. It was a clumsy stumble, not a drunk stumble. After being married for 19 years I can tell when he is too drunk and I tried pleading with security but they did not care. We had an open tab so I promptly went back to the VIP bar to close out my tab while my husband waited outside so we could walk back to our hotel (we drove in from Baton Rouge to see Andrew Rayel). Last thing I remember was talking to the security guard about my husband and telling him I was going to close out my tab. Apparently whatever I was given, mixed with alcohol started to affect me because I do not remember closing my tab and apparently over 30 minutes went by before I made it outside when the place was closing. My worried husband begged & pleaded with security to escort him back in to find me. They could have cared less. When I finally came outside my husband said I was completely belligerent & I had lost all motor function. I fell multiple times once outside & no telling how much inside but yet HE was the one who got kicked out! I have skinned up knees, elbows, goose egg on my brow bone & a black eye, along with12 significant bruises all over my body. Luckily my husband was waiting for me or no telling what kind of creep would have tried taking advantage of me in the parking lot. Obviously security wouldnt have been any help. After about 2 hours I was able to walk on my own again & even took out my contacts to go to bed. If I were that drunk, no way could I have sobered up enough to remove my contacts. From everything I read & discussed with numerous people, I believe someone spiked my drink with GHB. I am freaked out & will NEVER go back to this place. This was our 3rd time attending an event there and each time we spent lots of money driving to Houston from Baton Rouge. Our tab was less than the other 2 times and NYE prices were higher so I know neither of us drank enough to get him to the point of getting kicked out and me ending up in the state I was in. We do not take drugs like many patrons there and we didnt know anyone there or meet anyone who could have convinced us to take drugs. We simply are old school ravers who still appreciate the scene but after this experience I will be steering clear of this place for sure. I am from south LA, been going to bars since I was 16 (our drinking age used to be 18 & I had a fake ID way back then) plus I lived in Germany for 3 years while in the Air Force & drank all kinds of really strong beers. Point being, I know how to handle my alcohol. This was something entirely different & my husband was able to confirm it was completely out of character for me. I do not know if security was in on it but regardless I hold them accountable for not ensuring I was safe by separating me from my husband and not assisting him helping him find me when I went missing.

Saw Kaskade for the fist time at Stereo Live. Im a 31 male and love trance/house music. This was my first DJ to see. Im a bigger fan of Tiesto, however Ill get to the review. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! Find some where else to see your favourite musicians. Not even sure Ill ever see Kaskade again because this place sucked so bad. "I feel like I should have gotten paid to go to this place". Over-all, a rip off. SUMMARY [place opened almost an hour late, Kaskade was 2 hours late, we got booted from our table, VIP is a JOKE, Place was way OVER SOLD, staff was RUDE, power to stage shut off after first 30 min, place was so crowded there was NO space to stand or sit, place was shoulder to shoulder and back to chest, crowd had a poor attitude, very expensive drinks, ended up leaving early, and wont ever go back to this place.] The concert was supposed to start at 7. We bought tickets ahead of time and they had two entrances, one said VIP entrance, so thats where we stood since we bought VIP tickets. They finally opened the doors around 8 AND someone had to come get us cause apparently our "VIP entrance" wasnt the right entrance. We go up to VIP area and find a table that doesnt have a reserved sign on it. So we sit there and order drinks. Place starts filling up and we eventually get booted from our table. We find someone who works there and find out, if we want to keep a table, we have to pay $10 per person plus buy a bottle of alcohol. The bottle of alcohol is $200!!! WTF!? I already spent almost $150 on drinks at the bar for me and 3 others. After an hour roles by and no Kaskade, I asked one of the staff. They said Kaskade wont be there until about 11 or 12am. He didnt get there until after 12:30am. Supposedly the place closes around 2am. About the time we get booted from our table Kaskade enters the building. The "VIP" area that we can no longer sit in is just as packed as the non "VIP" area at this point. So we just go down to the main dance floor and push our way up near the front. On our way up, my wife somehow attracts drunk a--holes who manage to spill drinks down her shirt.... I admit, i was one of those a--holes, but I helped clean her up and said im sorry like 10 times. But this other guy spilt his drink on her and didnt say a word. He just walked off and threw his empty cup up in the air. The security guard was standing right next to her and saw the whole thing. Once at the front, we were danced on, pushed, and almost got into a couple fights. If anything, the place was probably over-sold.... so everyone was upset it seems. Kaskade being late and drinks costing too much and VIP not really being much of a VIP wasnt helping. After being totally fed up, we left about 1:30. We saw Kaskade for an hour. We drove 5 hours to see Kaskade and barelly got to see him. I still love Kaskade, glad I got to see him, but it was a tough experience. I feel like I should have gotten paid to go to this place, rather than me having to pay to go.

Let Me start off by saying that I am absolutely disgusted by the staff members in this club. It was my favorite club until Security started discriminating and acting shady....Last year a security guard approached my boyfriend and asked for Him to go outside, He then said He wanted to see my ID. I obviously did not hand it to Him because He doesnt have the authority to do that (Had an experience with another security holding my bfs military ID and threatening that He would call His sgt for drinking, YET HE IS 24!) so I was not about to go trough that again then He accused Me of drinking without a wrist band and told Me and my party to leave and all the other bouncers where making comments and joking around because I was refusing to give my personal info. They said for Me not to come back until I was 21! So I told them whatever I kept walking and they kept joking around so my bf obviously asked if they had a problem and this big o security with a beard said for Him to leave the property or He would punch His teeth out (I have witnesses) and they all kept saying smart things so its obvious that we were going to do the same.....4-5 months later after my 21st birthday we purchased 2 Benny Benassi VIP tickets under the impression that we would have no problem walking in since I was 21 already and that was the deal we made with the bouncers (No paperwork or nothing) ...As soon as we are walking up I hear about 2-3 yelling that we were not allowed in and that we were banned for life and the one checking IDs just yelled for us to go away and that he didnt know why but we werent allowed in.Okay no problem, We asked to speak to the club owner and they refused to even try, And RUDELY kept telling us to leave. FINALLY after several tries we got the "Organization Manager" and we explained to Him that all we wanted was our refunds and He said He would give us a refund if we contacted eventbrite etc etc... Long story short, We have been back and forth and they stopped replying and kept our money. They are money hungry thieves and unprofessional at its best. That really proved to Me that all the negative reviews I read in the past are true and that You should definitely watch out when going to this club. And also as we were leaving The organization manager was letting some young girl in for free and she was definitely not a gogo dancer or anybody that looked important. These guys are douche bags and they have definitely lost business with Me and my friends who used to go there just cause of Me. Im sure it dont matter to them because they still get business but this is my story and warning to others who plan on going to this place. Yes they do get good djs and its a good club but with bouncers like those they will slowly start loosing business.
