First off, I have to make a MASSIVE note of how DISGUSTING this place is. It should be condemned its so disgusting. If you go, be sure to take a big bottle of germ-x. The restrooms are absolutely hideous. The stall doors are all broken, trash graffiti all over the walls, mold everywhere you look, broken toilets, the toilet paper sits on the floor...the least they could do is offer toilet seat covers... The employees are lazy and rude. Where did they find these people? They should be friendly to the customers seeing as how we are the only ones keeping this place going. The bartenders are terrible. One female bartender in particular has got to be the WORST bartender and most RUDE person I have ever met. The girl out front has a nasty attitude. These people really should learn how to make a business successful, they should read up on some customer service and the benefits of making your customers wanting to come back. And Im not the first person to make these same comments about this place. Every time Ive gone this place is completely empty, except for the nights that The Door plays some sceenie weenie music and every 12-15 year old in Dallas shows up. I honestly dont understand how this place is open in this condition, it would take a miracle for it to pass a health inspection. I dont even know how they even have customers with the rude staff. I cringe at the thought of having to go with friends. And a business has to be especially bad for me to write a review. This place is awful.

My boyfriend and I decided to go hear some music while Im in town visiting him (were from Iowa and he recently moved down to Dallas). The music left much to be desired but I cant really blame the bar for the cheesy music especially since it was an all-ages show. The "bar" was laughable. Few liquor choices, 2 beers on tap (with one going empty after my boyfriends first beer) and Im not sure if our bartender was actually a bartender or if she was just new. She didnt know any of their liquors, had to check to see what their beers were, and seemed a novice at making drinks. (this fact was beneficial, though because our drinks were overly strong). The place looks pretty neat, drawings of Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, etc. line the brick walls and it has a raw feeling. However, I frequent better music venues/bars in little ol Iowa.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks where cheap and good. $5 liquors are the best deal. They have bicycle parking and the DART station is a very short walk away.* The bartender was awesome enough to take care of my backpack but I really think this place should have a coat check. Also, a great designated walkway between the exit and the restrooms would be nice. I cannot emphasize how long it took me to get to either place. I really enjoyed this place. I highly recommend you visit The Prophet Bar. *If you want to catch the train on time leave around 12:05 to catch the last train.

is was very fun and the tickets are always cheap for how great the experiences are. I dont like how they dont let you smoke cigarettes yet when the performer comes out everybody starts smoking weed and no one does anything , very unprofessional.

Dirtiest bar in Dallas, rudest staff, expensive drinks served in plastic cups. Every surface in this bar is sticky and the bathrooms are disgusting. They MAKE YOU PAY $2 for BOTTLED WATER and will not give you tap water.

Not the largest place Ive gone to for a show but definitely one of the nicer places. Acoustics were great, and there wasnt a bad seat in the house. Not to mention the tickets for shows are ridiculously inexpensive!

Bad bar with little variety. Disgustingly maintained, especially the bathrooms. Bad customer service at bar. Bad ventilation. Basically I wish I would have stayed home and stared at the floor.
