Theyve got lots of fun stuff happening here year round - Levitt is a centerpiece for Arlingtons big seasonal festivals like the Christmas lights parade and the 4th of the July festival, but it also hosts a free summer concert series, shows movies on the large outdoor movie screen, and periodically hosts food trucks. They book a great variety of artists, which is great - everything from classical to jazz, to rock/pop, and theres a great range of local, regional, and national acts. The stage is large and flexible, making it great for all different kinds of musical groups, but the seating is 100% uncovered, so if theres any chance of rain at all you may want to bring a rain jacket and a chair. Also, the viewing area is entirely grassy hillside - you can make a seat out of the raised planters and concrete steps around the edges, but those fill up pretty quickly for the popular shows, so if you have a problem with grass, you may want to at least bring a blanket. The only real drawbacks are parking and acoustics. The parking is tricky since its downtown - there isnt much dedicated parking, and what little there is is frequently closed down for larger events. Granted, theres plenty of free street parking available in the area, but you should plan to walk a few blocks unless you get lucky. As for the acoustics, the mix is somewhat inconsistent, which is probably partly due to bands bringing in their own equipment and partly due to the outdoor conditions, but it can make the live performance experience a little hit-and-miss. Overall, though, its a great outdoor venue and a lovely way to spend an evening or afternoon enjoying the most agreeable weather of the year while getting a healthy dose of culture.

Theres so many great artists that come through here. Been coming here for years now. So now its gaining popularity and you have to get there now to get a good parking space and also a great spot on the lawn. I like now that they have vendors so you can buy food there. The porta-potties arent that bad here either. The Levitt has a pretty good summer schedule and cant wait to see who will be there during their fall schedule. Ive seen Trombone Shorty, Big Sams Funky Nation and all sorts of folks here. They even have a night where they have music just for the kiddos. In order to keep the programs free here, they rely on patons donations and you can donate anything from a few dollars to a hundreds if you choose to do so. Everyone brings their blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers. I like the fact that I can bring my wine or whatever it is I decide to drink. Its a really cool place for date night or either an outing for the whole family.

Went to first concert at this venue. Concert was great as was most of the audience. Had a group of people near us that were very distracting. Several of them arrived intoxicated or at least tipsy. Where not really paying attention to concert and talked or flirted with each other the whole concert. Really wish they hadnt bothered to arrive. The music was great and the weather was perfect. Enjoyed the evening despite the distraction. Will be attending another concert soon.

You dont always need gigantic and expensive concerts to have a good time. Levitt Pavilion by UT Arlington is the perfect example of this, with a beautiful little hangout spot for all ages to gather and listen to some amazing entertainment for low prices. The place is very well-kept and sure to be a good time, so get a ticket to Levitt when you get the chance!

“The Greatest Outdoors” Love this oudoor venue. A terrific spot for a community feeling. Huge selection of performing artists! Most shows are free! Lots of stuff going on around this spot. Parking can be challenging. But the fun is worth the walk. Bring chairs and insect repellent.

This place is really cool. Ive seen several concerts here and they have all been enjoyable. It could use a bit of a re-think in the location of food; it gets very crowded at the entrance to the actual seats due to vendors being in the way

Great venue for free concerts. During the free concerts seasons, they encourage you to bring your own coolers for food and non-glass containers, but also have food trucks. The 3rd of July concert and fireworks show was very well done.

We love the Levitt. They offer free concerts with one concert with tickets as a fundraiser. There is some wall seating, but you should bring a chair or blanket for seating. There is usually a couple of food vendors as well.

This place is wonderful! The stage is beautiful, the sound system is great, the staff is friendly and there are free concerts series. It is a GEM that makes Arlington more of a community rather than just a city we live in.

Its an awesome place to go for live music and concerts. Not so much when protestors try to disrupt the events but their simple-minded folk. Glad the city decided to create this little venue.

Great local venue. Almost a small town down-home atmosphere. Free and fun and that equals a great combo. Concerts are free every weekend throughout the summer. Way to go Arlington!

We always have a great time. They have such a great range of artists. It does get hot at times so we take lots of water and handheld fans.

Always a good place to meet friends and either listen to a great band, watch a fun movie or just wait for a parade to swing by.
