Great people, great atmosphere, great drinks. Took my out of town friends for a bit of out-of-their-comfort-zone bar hopping and we fell in love! Everyone was chill, drinks were cheap and it was over the top cool. We were so sad we left to go to another bar and should have just stayed there! Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. There is a love band area that requires a cover amount but we had an awesome time without it. Ornamental toilets as outdoor decor should be enough to send you running there!

Im so dedicated to my home city of Chicago that I find myself overly critical of what other cities have to offer. I cannot do this with The Doublewide in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas. This bar could easily be one of my favorites ever. So laid back and cool without trying at all. If I had no other reason to go back to Dallas other than to visit The Doublewide again, I would go without second thought. I love you Doublewide and I love your Yoohoo Yeehaw Slushie. Please, never change!

Doublewide is a Deep Ellum staple. Really cool dive bar with some space inside and a large patio. The decor is totally ridiculous (picnic tables are the classiest seating options but if you want you can sit on any number of toilets). They regularly have well drink specials and even the regular prices are inexpensive. Insiders tip: every Friday night they have chickenshit bingo w/ a live hen so bring your pennies to play.

If you want a bar that reminds you of the quiet roadside bar go to Double Wide. Its easy to have fun and feel like you arent a part of the show but just there to enjoy a frosty beverage and meet and greet with a local. It can get busy but since its not huge it rarely feels like one of those trendy hotspots that get overplayed. Drinks are strong and have enough variety for the whole drinking family.

The double wide actually seems a little bit narrow. It is kind of an awkward space and the music, though they were pretty decent tunes, was really loud inside. The vibe of the place was nice. The drinks were good. There was a large crowd and there was live music on the other side in the "venue" area. There was something like a ten dollar cover to get in on that side.

Super fun place for date night or even a week night you´re bored and want to go out for a few drinks. Events keep the place interesting and filled with a fun eclectic crowd. Theyre bartenders are very interesting characters, fun and take care of their customers. Over serving is not in their book! I give this place a 10!

An institution! Disregard any negative Nellies trying to push you away from trying this place out. The staff, and regulars alike are the nicest, most down to earth folk youll meet. Nothing but love and good vibes can survive the jovial atmosphere of double wide. Come in with a frown.. and it will soon be corrected.

Kind of a weird little place but I liked it. Its a trashy dive bar with (tiny) concert venue attached. I saw Baroness there a few weeks back and it was awesome, great crowd and the small size of the place made it feel really intimate. Ill definitely be back if anyone else I like plays here.

This is a great bar and has been around forever. Just know that your getting ice cold beer and the crowd is eclectic. For those familiar with the area, but not the bar-its just across from Verns old place (that sadly closed), plenty of parking.

Kitschy atmosphere and great drinks you wont find anywhere else make Double Wide a great spot to hang out. Covers are typically only charged for visiting the music venue off the patio so that bar goers dont have to pay.

A fun bar, with plenty of open air space. A bit of a dive, but theyve got a great atmosphere and good people. Can be packed summer nights, but still worth a visit, especially when theres live music or a DJ.

I live in Deep Ellum. Been here many times on Sunday. One of the few places left in Deep Ellum that you can meet various types of people from different walks of life. Cheap strong drinks. And good DJs.

Great vibe, probably not the youngest professionals, and there are cheap drinks (try the frozen yoohoo). Cool venue for live music. Place isnt super clean but thats just part of the deal.

Great atmosphere and inexpensive drinks/shots. Were from out of town and a few locals recommended we go here, it was easily our favorite bar we visited in Dallas. Great crowd too.

Great rough eclectic interesting dive bar and concert venue. A good leftover bar for the leftovers. Try the Yoo-hoo and check to see if they have chicken s**t bingo going on.

A really amazing bar , and dont listen to those hipster morons spouting out crap , and accusing it of being a Nazi bar . its one of the most accepting places in Texas.

The women were old and ugly, the one bartender was disrespectful . The other one was wearing a winter hat and a tank top. Go here if you are an extreme hipster

Great little spot with good drinks. I hung out outside and our group had a great environment for conversation. I ended with a hot toddy and it hit the spot.

A fun bar with diverse and interesting patrons. I mightve saw a tattoo parlor in it. Gives you a great parody of the American trailer park experience.

They have amazing ribs in this place. Ribs and beer, nothing can go better than that. This place is pretty electric too and can get a little crowded.
