Was traveling from out-of-state and walked into this placed and gave it a try. Bouncer said the music was a good mix of some light electro hipster and some heavier rock. Was interested enough to pay the cover charge...the first band was all screamo so I left after the first song, asked when the next band would arrive, and tried another place down the road. Came back to check out the second band who was more metallica than rock. Considering I heard 2 songs total, I asked for a refund and they wouldnt give it. Overpriced drinks too...I dislike this place and would not recommend it. The venue was a good setup but they need to advertise more honestly.

This bar is one of the many reasons that Deep Ellum will never be restored to its once great stature. The door fee on a Thursday night followed by a lack of any drink special are some of the reasons this place will never be great. The place was empty like most of the bars in this area. The sound guy is absolute crap. He looked like someone who hated their job and he just came there to collect a paycheck. The bartender was subpar. He was too busy on his cell phone to pay attention to customers. This place should have closed its doors long ago.

I love small venues in general and it was my first time going to this one a couple weeks ago when I saw foxing at south by so what, and the acoustics and very personal in your face atmosphere were right up my alley. However it gets five stars MAINLY BECAUSE THEY HAD A SELF SERVE WATER JUG WITH DISPOSABLE CUPS RIGHT BY THE BAR and too many venues fail to make cold free water easily accessible enough to ensure the audience stays hydrated and healthy and I was so happy to see this venue was on top of that issue. ❤

Very horrible experience!! I had bought me and my friend a drink using my card, and my friend was gonna tip her with some bills. The bartender thought because I didnt tip her with my card we wasnt gonna tip her but my friend was going to. She starts flipping out on us cussing us out flipping us off and pours our drinks down the drain!! And she tried keeping my card!! Key word TRIED I will NEVER go to this club ever again!!

Went to a road show here in April 2016. Im not fond of the sound system here, but other than that its a good place to go if youre able to catch a band you like coming through town. I was able to see a rapidly growing band here and was grateful to have seen them in this intimate setting. I just felt it could have sounded better. That could have been due to the bands soundman and not the clubs soundman.

Been to several concerts here, from pop to punk to dance to blues, and the sound has ALWAYS been spot-on (something that is lacking in many venues of this size). They consistently seem to get really good artists, both local (Boxcar Gypsies, The Roomsounds), national (Mutemath, Civil Twilight, Charli XCX), and international (Bag Raiders). Always a good time at Club Dada!

From the second you pull up and see Beards (the bouncer) smiling face, you know your in for a treat. Frankie 45 (one of their bartenders) recently one the Deep Ellum Associations Bartender Competition and plays there regularly with his band Spector 45.

Deep Ellums storied music listening room is newly renovated and better than ever! The musics great, the patios beautiful, the drinks and sound are expertly mixed, the sight lines are excellent, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious.

Got to visit Club DADA on a Sunday afternoon, my cousin had a concert there. The staff is great they even offered ear plugs if the music got too loud to endure. We had a wonderful experience!

Recently saw The Wild Reeds inside and had an amazing time! Love this space and when the weather is nice, the outdoor stage is perfect. Really nice bartenders and good prices.
