Oh my my; now here is a real gem. Superb trails which are wide including some paved. Spectacular scenery in the form of lakes, trees, creeks, hills, bike trails, benches galore, educational signs along side the benches, numerous bridges, docks, overlooks, picnic benches, disc golf, etc! The walking trail part says 1.1 miles from the start (it starts at the disc golf, just stay right as you go out of the parking lot towards the road bridge on house haul). Dont be fooled. If you go to the very end and back along the entire lake (by the way there is a completed trail the whole way, its a hard packed gravel down the nature trail through the trees, and a sidewalk along the n bridgeland pkwy back), its more like 5 miles. Do it in google maps if you dont believe me. Good part is there are 3 turn around points along the nature trail that go back a diff route, 2 go back into the disc golf then back to the lot, and the 3rd is the big bridge that crosses the lake a little more than halfway down. Tons of birds and various animals all along the way, paralleled on both sides by a creek and a lake with occasional spectacular views. One bike trail goes to a beautiful opening at the fork of cypress creek and little cypress creek. I took the stroller down it to see the amazing view of a dam (see my pics). The catch and reason why I wont give it even 4 stars: all this hinges on a controversial privacy policy in that they have big signs that say its private property and for residents only no trespassing. Ive read from some google reviews that some park goers have been shouted at and basically shooed away. But they sounded like professional photographers, which would attract attention I guess. So thats disconcerting. But the grapevine says apparently this is recent and bridgeland is privatizing this formally public park. Maybe its because theyve invested a lot of money in making it nice with tons of benches, educational signs, disc golf, well maintained and immaculate trials/foliage, bathrooms, canoes, etc. Im not sure if those things were here before these new private signs went up, but it wouldnt matter if its off limits now. If you throw a birthday party or have some massive gathering here, I can see why they may say something if its private. But if you just walk the trail I find it hard to believe you would get gestapoed. Sill, Im quite annoyed that bridgeland is taking this snobby stance, but seeing how some people treat parks I guess I can sympathize. Take away 2 stars from the xenophobes for attempting to keep the proletarians out of this trumped up park. People want to appreciate this place, not harm it, dont be such pessimists!!

I absolutely love this park; this whole area really! The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because I am very upset at the new "rules" this park and other parks in Bridgeland have put into place. Residents only It is absolutely ridiculous! This is not gated and even reads PUBLIC park on Google search. Im a local photographer and I love this location. Im always respectful of the land and the people there. I have been treated so poorly by Bridgeland staff recently. Once I was told that it was ok for me to be there, the next time I was nearly yelled at by a women who guards the park. I noticed the new signs, but after being told I was fine being there I did not think I would be attacked. I dont think it is right for them to say no one can come into the park. Imagine if I had been a person looking to buy in Bridgeland, the way I was approached... They would have lost the sale right there! I understand they dont want these things to become overcrowded but they arent, never have been and I doubt me coming there to enjoy the trails and take photos is hurting anyone. Ive been going to that area before there was Bridgeland before there were trails! I will still continue to go there, because I can.

This is partially my fault since I did not know this was a private disc golf course. Anyways I lost my disc in the water and was looking for it, one of the residents immediately came over and began to cuss me out for stealing on private property, when I explained to him I was looking for my disc he threatened to call the police, which he then did. He then followed me to my car still taunting and swearing and as I got in my car to leave he took a picture of me and my license plate. I didnt realize it was a private course, which was my fault, but I did not deserve to be treated so inhumanely by that resident.

As soon as I got out of the car I was informed that the park was private. No clear sign before I got that far. No fence. No gate. But, if you just go park on a street in the neighborhood, they cant stop you from walking on sidewalks. A bit absurd.

It should have an awesome trail for running. However you have to be a resident. PRIVATE PARK. There are some guys in blue ride around to ask you for resident verification. Ask you to leave if you do not have. Nice park btw.

Pretty hard to appreciate as it is a "private" park for Bridgeland residents only. You know it is getting bad when open spaces are fenced off and privatized.

Great park but it is for Bridgeland residents only. There is a park ranger making sure you live in the neighborhood. Be ready to show your key fob.

The SS who patrol this place are rude as hell. Just go anyway. Park at the public school of Bridgeland Parkway and walk over.
