This is a definite must see for any amateur speleologists out there or just anyone who appreciates the visual beauty of Nature and Time! Easily one of the prettiest show caves in TX, Natural Bridge Caverns starts its tours with a view of its namesake right by the entrance. The tour is a little short and our guide was not particularly engaging or overly knowledgable (it sounded like she was reading from the Cave Guides Discovery Tour Script), but she was really young and honestly, you really dont need a lot of explanation of the absolutely fantastic and gorgeous formations in front of you! The formations in the cave are just downright spectacular! From chamber to chamber they get progressively more and more breathtaking! The crown jewel is the end of the Discovery Tour when you have a full panorama of the formations from the "observation deck" which creates this sort of layered perspective that is just jaw dropping! One of my fav formations was definitely the Kings Throne and the Castle of the White Giants. The petrified bat roosts and rimstone dams are also really cool cave "decorations". And because it is still an active cave, water is dripping everywhere, so it is more than likely you will leave your underground adventure with a "cave kiss", which is always good luck! Totally worth the money and the drive out there! Also look into combining the cave tour w/a Bracken Bat Flight viewing. You will not regret it!

Adventure Tour: 5/5 - Dont miss out on the Adventure Tour! This beginner-friendly tour explores the lower cave that continues from where the regular walking tour ends in the Cathedral room. Greg led us with his great dry humor through deep mud that captures your shoes, freezing water, surprises at every turn and wonder. I suggest doing your research of this great place before visiting cause Greg would much rather climb around with you than discuss the geology, history, etc. He is also very friendly and keeps the group safe. It is so fun! Camping: 3/5 - There are spots with electricity, some without electricity, bathrooms, a laundry room and someone you can call at any time. The spots for tent camping are not marked so we were confused where to set up or park. We were also confused why we were the only ones who were not in a RV. People need to get out more... Trails: 1/5 - We hiked the short .5 mile trail leading from the tent camping area at night. It was only marked with a few signs explaining the wildlife and these little colored ribbons that pop up sometimes. I could see how it would be hard to navigate the trail even during the day. Staff: 5/5 - Very friendly, helpful and fun! Price: 3/5 - What I expected. $25 for a tent spot (no electricity, 2 max with $3 for each extra person) & $55 for the Adventure Tour

The Caverns get 5 stars because the campground is a nice place to park your RV for a few days rest. It is quiet and peaceful in among the Oak Trees. The owner and his staff that run the place are nice people, helpful and friendly. We did not go down into the Caverns thus this review is about the campground itself. For the RV we enjoyed our stay. It is not all too far from Boerne, that has plenty of shopping and restaurants. A little further is San Antonio - about 30 minutes tops. If you enjoy nature walks, the Caverns is great for taking walks as well. The campground is too far from town, so consider it a remote location for a fine get away. For Tent Campers - there are plenty of - LONESOME but safe camp areas for you (as we noted when on our walk about the park).

I not really a cave exploring person but the fam and I were looking for something to do on a rainy day. I cant say this was an amazing experience but it was worthwhile and interesting in a wholesome way. Our guide was knowledgeable and very patient especially since we had a semi naughty 4 year old with us. The walk is about a mile ( 1/2 mile to and then back). Id recommend wearing decent shoes for rock and puddles. There are passages of the cave where youll have to hunch over to walk at a 45 degree angle if youre taller than 5 foot. Overall Id say it was folksy fun.

Our tour guide was awesome - very knowledgeable and just the right amount of humor. We saw bats, frogs, and salamanders. The caves - 5 rooms - were gorgeous and refreshingly cool on a 95 degree summer day. The tours seem to depart every hour on the hour and are about 60 minutes long. Only about 15 people go on each tour so it doesnt feel crowded and you get good photos. There are a lot of steps and the ground can get slick with water. Youll also get dripped on quite a bit but will by no means get soaked. Wear good shoes. Very cool tour!

This is a small, family-run attraction. Expect a more low-key, personal tour than a "slick" tourist spot. That said, the small museum had plenty of interesting displays to keep us interested and give us a preview while we waited for our tour to begin. Our tour guide was humorous and well-informed about the geology and history of the region. The cave itself is quite unique, as is the story behind it. Definitely worth the drive!

We tried to see the caverns but there turned out to be flooding problems in the area. Instead of just turning us away, one of the guides was cool enough to take us down to the mouth of it and tell us as much as he could about the history of the land and the cavern without charging us. We were extremely grateful that he did so because we drove 40 minutes to see it. Overall very nice and informed people!

Low key tour. Our three year old enjoyed jumping in all the puddles inside the cave. Good thing the camp ground has showers so we could easily rinse off the mud. Guide was very knowledgeable about the fossils that are inside, the nestng bats, and the cave formation. Some crouching and about 150 stairs involved, but overall a mild hike. Tour took about an hour

The tour guide makes all the difference and ours was horrible (blonde girl with glasses). You can tell she doesnt enjoy her job, speaking memorized lines like a robot, and she was also rude. She rushed through everything, I think our tour was about 10 minutes long. Definitely not worth the $. Im sure it could have been better with a better tour guide though.

We have visit today the cascade cavern, we had the 4PM and me and my family where the only own (just before Labor Day weekend) the tour guide was great and explained everything clearly and true out even for the small group my wife and 2 kids. Also for our daughter from 2 it was a great experience, looking for bats with her received flashlight.

Awesome tour guide (blonde with glasses). She was very informative and really knew her science. My two kids had a good time because she was joking with them yet teaching at the same time. This cave has been a wonderful source for learning about this areas geology.

My friend and I took three of our sons there and had a blast. Our boys loved the caverns (and of course the gift shop:) We loved getting to drink from the fountain of youth! The tour guide, Lynn Ray, really does a great job. The cave is amazing!
