Definitely an awesome experience, but be mindful of open containers. When I first moved here I didnt realize you couldnt have an open container. And if you are curious, 12 years ago it was a $160 ticket; but the officer did allow me to finish the beer. That being said, this is an easy course in the heart of Austin. Most holes are wide open, which is perfect for beginners, yet the course isnt boring for more experienced disc golfers.

Zilker Park Disc Golf Course is an Austin Classic. This course is a good design for beginners and intermediate players. Advanced and Pro players will only be challenging their personal scores and not really the course. The Waterloo Disc Golf Club does a great job of maintaining this course with a partnership from the City of Austin and Parks and Recreation.

One of my favourite courses in Texas. A lot of shorter but still technical holes with plenty RHBH anhyzer opportunities. Well maintained by park staff and plenty of parking. Cheers!

The front 9 at zilker are some fun holes. I like the fact you can jump in some water afterwards. Its one of the greatest places in austin

Zilker Disc Golf is great for beginners and veterans alike. You wont lose a disc. The only setback is that its usually really busy

18 hole short course, play in a hour or so. Take a swim at Barton Springs afterward. Some shaded areas to beat the heat in.

Solid course - however need to put up signs between holes, gets a little messy back in the woods, easy to get lost.

My son loves this place. He loves the fact that he can get on a train and sight see.

Small course. Great for beginners but not very challenging for experienced golfers.

Fun course and nice scenery. Later holes are a little close to the access road.

One of the shorter range courses in Austin. Also, watch out for burrs!

Beautiful course right next to Barton Dprings and Zilker Park.
