The location is a bit difficult to get to when coming from the south, and the sign on the building is a little small, so be on the lookout for the more noticeable dance studio next to it. The employee who was working there was very helpful and friendly with our party. All communication is done over microphones/speakers in the rooms, so you get your time and clues that way. You also get infinite clues that do not add to your final time. Im not a big fan of infinite clues (even though we needed several), since all other escape rooms Ive done only give you a handful of free clues. My group (there ended up only being two of us) did the Project Capricorn room, and sadly we could not finish it. You have to know exactly what to do and have all the notes to complete this with two people. Theres also a part of this room that is a bit of a time waster, so that gets frustrating after having to sit through it multiple times. I would definitely go back and try one of their other rooms, hopefully with a bigger group next time. Two people is just too hard, despite the unlimited clues. Having more people to search for clues, gather intel, and solve puzzles makes it much easier.

Went to Perplexium as a group of four for the AI Escape. Wed heard it had a pretty low success rate, and wanted to challenge ourselves! According to Kyle, who was our guide for the evening, the puzzle had been revamped within the past few months, and only 3 groups had escaped before us. The room itself was an absolute blast. There was a constant conversation between us, the players, and the AI who was integral to the rooms story - a very immersive and fun experience. Lots of other puzzle rooms are heavy on the keys and the search-and-find aspect, but this one felt much more like logic puzzles and brain benders, which I enjoyed greatly. We become group number 4 to escape the newer Rogue AI room, with two additional friends we made along the way! 15 seconds to spare, but well take it. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for a challenge, but Id bring friends. It wouldve been nearly impossible without at least 4 people.

This place was awesome! A totally immersive experience (Complete with soundtrack!) that put you into the scenario so that you felt like you were starring in your own movie! Unlike other rooms Ive played, where sometimes the creators had to sacrifice atmosphere to make a difficult puzzle, none of the puzzles took you out of the experience by seeming out of place. A variety of challenges and possible solutions (my friends and I are already thinking of different ways to run through it) guarantees fun for all players, no matter their experience level with these kind of things. A fantastic value for the price, Highly Recommended!

We were one of the beta test groups and absolutely loved it! We had a group of 4 adults and 4 teens and everyone in the group had something to work on and solve. The puzzles are just hard enough to keep you stumped, but not too difficult to make the room impossible. We solved the room with 2 minutes to spare and enjoyed every second of it! The craftsmanship in the room and props is fantastic and the attention to detail is superb. I will certainly be returning when they get more of their rooms open!!! Keep up the good work guys!

So awesome!! Our group of 10 had an amazing time. Extremely well done. Love the cohesiveness of the puzzles at Perplexium. Its so well thought out and technically advanced. We went as a fun activity for my boyfriends birthday and had a blast, but this would definitely also be a great team building activity/leadership retreat because of all the tasks and teamwork required to solve the puzzles. Cant wait for the new rooms. Will definitely be coming back!!

I really enjoyed the escape room me and my friends did at Perplexium. There were some seriously advanced parts to the puzzles that amazed me. The room I completed was a full story and completely immersive - I really appreciated how so many details of the story had been fully thought out. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure we were completely taken care of and happy. I would love to come back and try another room.

Great first time escape room experience. We were a group of 5, from 12 years old to 40s in the The Spy playing with another group of college age kids. Very entertaining. We all work together and help each other find things. It took us about 50 minutes to get out and that was with a little help from the outside agent. Highly recommend and will definitely will be back to the AI room.

We had a fantastic time at Perplexium! We love puzzle rooms and have visited several so far. Perplexium impressed us with the degree of immersion we experienced in the room. Immediately, we were given roles in the story and drawn into the narrative. Also, all of the puzzles made logical sense with regard to the overarching story, which was quite realistic. Highly recommended!

This is a really great room with a secret agent theme. Lots of working electronics and gadgets, and the room had a great plot and progression to it. We had a pretty smart crew of 8, and it took us almost the full hour to get through it. They were still building two more rooms when I got there, so I cant wait to see what else they come up with!

The project Capricorn was amazing! My fiancé and I went a month ago, paired with another random duo. You definitely need 4 for this room. It was difficult, but the puzzles are really clever to live up to the Zodiac encryptions. I would recommend this room for the intermediate puzzle goers.

An hour of great fun. This would be great for team building and teen and adult birthdays and even a fun date. The puzzles were thoughtful and make sense. There are unexpected twists and turns and the solution is surprising. This is a must due game

Went with some friends and really enjoyed it! Its very creative and contains an actual storyline that you would have to walk through, so it isnt a bunch of puzzles randomly thrown together. Great place and I cant wait for their new room!

This was the best of the puzzle rooms Ive been to in Austin! The puzzles were high tech and surprising, and the story was great. We had a group of four people and had to get some hints, but we managed to solve it. Really fun!

Expertly designed props and clues. Highly recommend for adults & teens/preteens. We actually stopped more than once to look at each other and say, "This is so fun!" Go!
