TL;DR: I would never go back and would recommend all my friends to go somewhere else. Price: The prices were unfair for what you get. It was $4 to get in with a required extra $4 whether you wanted to skate or not and even if you bring your own skates you have to pay the extra $4. I wish they would just say entry price was $8 because then I wouldnt feel like were tacking on some fee of some sort. If you want to rent inlines instead of quads then it costs and extra $4 on top of the other ones. The price of anything to buy was extremely expensive but I guess that is to be expected. Flooring: The rink size was extremely small. The rink floor was good for skating but the lines on the rink were confusing. I didnt know if you were supposed to be on the inside or the outside if you wanted to skate at a faster or slower speed. Also you could feel the lines and stickers on the floor which took away from the rinks actual floor space. The entrance area to the skating rink was horrid with the carpet changing to rubber tile which then changed to the rink floor. The change in texture was not a good thing to put in a skating rink especially at the entrance to the rink area. There were also rubber bumps that connected the carpet area to the rubber tiles which were hazardous. Events: The most unfair thing I had ever seen was the glow item only time on the rink. This time forced you to go buy a glow item from their store (ridiculously overpriced) just to go on the rink which we already paid to do! Also the races should be saved for the end of the night instead of the middle so people that dont want to participate can just pack up and get ready to leave. Also the middle of the night is when the skating rink had the most people and the least amount of people got to skate during this time because of the races. Wipeout and Reverse Direction Skating were also done in the time I was there. There were probably too many events happening in too short of a time so the events should probably be spread out a bit so there is more time for normal skating and less of the not skating times. Staff: The front desk staff were very nice and helped when asked. They sometimes disappeared, though. There were no staff on the rink floor enforcing rink rules and skating direction. The skaters pretty much did whatever they wanted regardless of the rules which I did not see any posted anywhere. There should be someone out there at least enforcing the safety rules so that people dont get hurt or that people have less of a chance of getting hurt. Skaters would stop in front of the entrance area, speed in between people and generally acted unsafe. There was no policing of the carpet area either meaning skaters could skate around the carpet area at the same speeds they would on the rink. I got my toes run over several times by skaters speeding around the carpeted area while sitting on a bench by the rink. The skaters would skate off of the rink at full speed onto the carpeted area defeating the point of the carpeted area and making it extremely dangerous for entering the skating rink. The staff in charge of enforcing the glow item rule was rude and mean.

TL;DR: Nice staff, unreasonable pricing system, inappropriate music. Wont go back and wouldnt bring kids here. The admission price is $8.00 even after tax. Its $3 just to enter, so dont count on simply tagging along with a group of friends or just to watch your kids for free while they skate. Then the skate rental is $5, but youre charged even if you bring YOUR OWN skates. They call this an "inspection of personal skates" charge. My boyfriend has very large feet, and thus most skating rinks, bowling alleys, etc. dont carry his size, and so we bought him skates solely to allow him to be comfortable while skating, as well as to save money on rentals. But were being charged for an "inspection" anyway? No thanks. (And, of course, they didnt "inspect" his skates at all. They didnt even ask to see them.) Now, Ill throw in that the staff members at the counter were very friendly and helpful. They were cheerful and created a fun atmosphere for the children. However, children were speeding through the common area on their skates and sometimes even colliding with others or with adults. My boyfriends toes were run over blatantly while sitting out of the way. More staff or more rules and control in the general area would be much better. While stopping the general skating for games is perfectly acceptable, they have a Glow Skate period where ONLY those that have a glowing item (which can be purchased from their gift shop) may skate. We paid to get in, and thus should not be required to pay for or bring a flashing item just to use some of our paid skate time. Many children were very upset by this as well, and I noticed the staff members having to be more insistent and even aggressive towards the children that simply wanted to skate during the Glow Skate time. I encourage the management to rethink this idea, as I believe it will cause more trouble than its worth. The microphone system was not turned up loud enough to hear most announcements made over all of the background noise and chatter, while the music was nearly deafening. We could not hear information being given such as the staff asking everyone to stop skating or exit the rink. Furthermore, concerning the music, I believe that the music selection was NOT appropriate for children. Playing Nicki Minajs "Anaconda" with children well under 12 years old in the area concerned me. Other songs with curse words were not censored either. While I myself am not horribly prude, I dont feel that a skating environment should expose such young children to these sort of lyrics, and the parents should instead choose whether or not they may listen to these songs in a private setting. What is popular among college students is often not appropriate for children. Unfortunately, we will definitely be travelling further from home in order to avoid this skating rink in the future.

Terrible place. Staff is Ok, a few of them treat some children extremely horrible, allowing children to attack others verbally, as well as allowing some to be accosted in the restrooms, ignoring them when asked for help because someones picking on them, or calling them names, etc. Favoritism. The manager, if he doesnt like the child, focuses on them and doesnt dole out consequences fairly. If theres an issue and cant come to a solution, each child involved should get same consequence. Unless its violence physically to another. Youve lost our business, as well as four of my friends business.that is money lost from eleven kids total so far. Totals up to 132.00 every Friday night.your people are horrible

It really pissed me off that they would charge the same price for a kid in a cast. Even though the breakdown online without skates excludes the 4 bucks. Get there and nothing they say online is valid. They got hidden rules and fees they charge. Not to mention I have been here 3 times with my 2 kids under 6 and was never charged the 2 for one. I wouldnt go here only because of that and how irrited I was because of it but seeming how my child likes hanging with his friends and this is the only place to go on Friday I have no other choice but to suck up my pride and let him go. But this place really irks my soul.
