Had a wedding where stated in the agreement we had the venue all the way until midnight. The landowner came late and continuously nagged about cleaning up after our private ceremony during the afternoon right away when we were busy trying to set up for the reception and getting things ready for the guests to come. We already had a set plan to start cleaning at the end of the night around 10:30-11pm to be able to get off the property by midnight to abide by the agreement. She had told us we were welcome to use the grill or oven but the day of the wedding our chefs came prepared with food already cooked just needed some heating up. She promptly yelled at us for using her grill telling us she didnt want us putting raw foods in her grill or oven despite the fact we said it was already cooked. As guests were arriving, she told us we were not allowed to serve drinks of any kind prior to the reception meaning everyone was extremely thirsty. She went on about showing proof that our security had to have license to even be security and then told us not to let him have at least a light snack or drink. We werent allowed to use a table to place food on (buffet style) because its her "favorite table" and didnt want us using it at all. Our DJ was not allowed to sit...on his OWN stool because it was "ugly" and forced to stand throughout the night with no food. Guests started leaving early due to tension in the air and didnt even get to dance at the end. Our bridesmaids were bombarded to constantly clean up well before 8 and the bride never even got to get pictures with her groom with some props WE brought because we had to clean up. We were forced to start cleaning up around 8:30pm. We were told putting away tables and chairs were her responsibility but she told guests (who were still there) to start stacking up the chairs for her. Some guests came a little later and to get all cleaned up she started moving their belongings around without letting them know all before they were done eating. We made sure to put things exactly as we found it before and in the end we had to get off the property 2 hours before the original agreement. Yes, the party ended at 10. What was supposed to be the brides greatest night ended up being kinda dreadful. The landowner proceeded to tell us we damaged her property and wasnt going to give money back. This entire experience was soooooo horrendous.

This beautiful venue MADE our wedding. Not only is it a gorgeous and romantic venue, but it has everything to make sure your entire wedding day is an amazing experience. The girls sipped champagne while getting their makeup and hair done in the private bridal building. The guys swam and had a fun-filled day at the pool house (probably too much fun!). The sweet and amazing Diana made the entire process exciting and stress-free. It was as if I had a second wedding planner. She helped in setting up, breaking down, and I even noticed her picking up after others. I absolutely loved working with Diana and Antebellum Oaks. I am so thankful to them for making our special day such a success!!

What an amazing, gorgeous, great location venue to host an event. My daughter was married here on March 29, 2014. The staff at AOV knocked it out of the park. So easy to work with and extremely knowledgable and helpful staff. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out for any event you are hosting. Close to hotels, in the middle of Lakeway, but feels like they are out away from it all. Loved the fact that the grounds are so perfectly manicured and you have access to the whole property. Under the tree pavillion, Open air or closed a/c or heat main hall, and upper level grounds. STUNNING during the day or evening. Can you tell I loved this place?

I enjoyed an unbelievably beautiful event hosted at Antebellum Oaks and didnt want to leave, it was so beautiful, elegant and peaceful. I walked by lovely ponds, under immense ancient oaks, and thought perhaps Id died and gone to heaven. It was utterly magical!

I cant comment on how easy this place is to work with, but we attended a wedding here and it was absolutely perfect - the room is beautiful, they have nice facilities for guests and at-night - wow. Very scenic.
