This place is very nice with outstanding views! October is probably a great time to have your wedding because its not ridiculously hot like summer. Lighting and decor outside is sweet and you dont have to decorate it yourself because its already there. Be careful in the reception tent...especially with heels. Im not very steady anymore with heels and my heel got stuck many a time between the paving stones. As with any business you work with for your special day, make sure and read your contract and get everything in writing as to avoid confusion.

Our experience at this Lake Travis home was beyond our expectations. The home is wonderful and the location provides country relaxation with easy access to Austin and surrounding communities. We easily did day trips to Fredrickburg and San Antonio and returning home was always a relaxing end to the day. Fresh eggs and vegetables, acerage for morning or evening walks and the respectful and accomodating hosts were all bonus touches that made our vacation one of the best we have ever had. If you have a chance to rent this home, take it!

So helpful, friendly and they actually love weddings! I sometimes see venues with staff that are easily annoyed and botherish just going through the motions, but the staff here took such great care in the brides event with genuine joy and delight, I was really impressed. The staff was helpful, upbeat and encouraging to other wedding vendors as well, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I had my wedding here and it was fantastic. The venue is stunning and the owners and the workers are a blessing. My entire day went flawlessly! Tom was easy to work with and Cheryl (hired day of coordinator from venue) is professional and efficient. I promise, you wont regret getting married here. My only advice is to get everything in writing. Just so there is zero confussion.
