Its a perfect place for a leisure day with the kids. The water is always perfect for a hot summer day. My daughter loves the sand area and they even have traditional playground for kids who are not into either the water or sand. Theres also a concession stand for icees and drinks. If you want to make a day off it, you can start at the park and then use the walking bridge to make your way downtown .

Stopped on my way through Nashville, too bad its not appropriate for young adults to use playgrounds. Really cool views of the city and bridge, nice area for kids. The play area looks like small rolling waves with turf grass on top, then a kids bridge, sand area and 3 pointed star designed 3 walls that make a cool little area to walk around in. There are also some nice trails along the river.

Great spot just across the pedestrian bridge from the downtown bustle. Only shortcoming is a lack of guaranteed free parking. During downtown or river events, nearby parking tends to become pay lots even for those just wanting to let the kids splash around in the fountains. But bathrooms are large, generally clean and the grounds are in general well laid out and lit in the evening.

This is a great park. If youre down at the stadium early for a Titans game or CMA Fest, its worth checking out Cumberland Park. Theres lots of trees with shade to be found which cant said of the stadium lots. You can find a bunch of picnic tables near the bridge. If you want a drink or a bathroom, you can find both at the edge of the park under the bridge.

Jazz on the Cumberland is one of Nashvilles most welcoming events for the entire family with exceptionally great entertainment - a variety of food vendors and a safe water-play area for the kids!! Its the PERFECT way to unwind and relax on the 3rd Sunday of each month through October!

The splash pad here is awesome and theres a large sandbox area near the watet. The kids have a great time running up and down the hills between the two areas. Theres also a climbing wall suitable for older kids and restrooms nearby. Plan to spend several hours, pack snacks and water

An awesome and FREE place to take the kids on a hot summer day. The only thing I dont like is that the way its designed leaves a lot of places for the kids to get out of your sight. You have to be hyper vigilant with children who impulsively run to different areas.

This is one of my favorite parks in Nashville: Conveniently located with plenty of parking; Easy access to an elevator that takes you to the Shelby pedestrian bridge; the splash pad is tons of fun and I have taken my son there several times.

Neat little plot of land. Our kid got excited right away because of the trains and tracks right by the parking. They have a nice splash pad with lots of Jets and a couple of bear play areas. You can do everything here in like 2 to 3 hours.

Wow! Excellent build for this randomly located city park. The varieties of challenging playground games, rock climbing wall, soft recycled grounds, this place if build for little And Big kids!

Great park. Lots of fun things for the kids, and the water is great in the summertime. Park staff need to invest money in maintaining the landscaping though, its starting to get overgrown.

My wife and I love it here. Jazz on the grass was real nice and the crowd was super chill. I like that they try and keep it clean. We have also brought my nephew and it was great for him.

Wish the splash n play would have been on, but i think that was due to some events going on the same day? But other than that it was a great place to spend the day with family.

My 3 year old granddaughter loved the splash park. Park needs more shaded areas. We tried to have birthday cake and open presents, but there is virtually no shade
