If you are looking for sweet wines, this winery is for you. Was looking for a nice tasting room experience, with unique wines and didnt get it. I participated in a 5 dollar tasting for 10 samples and I got to keep the glass. The wine was all pre selected, and the woman bartender was more about giving a sales pitch than serving wine. The experience was stale and the wine wasnt what I expected. I even got scolded for observing my wine before the server told me to! I dont want to listen to a five minute speech before I try my wine! Over all, I disliked my experience. If you like a small town calm experience, do not visit. It was too corporate feeling and seemed all about making money.

Be aware they make very sweet wines almost entirely from muscadine grapes. I am a dry red guy, and checked their website to see if they make dry red. They make "Burgundy", so I figured they make dry red from pinot noir, and thus must buy in grapes to make a few dry reds. Wrong! What they call " Burgundy " is made from Noble, which is, they told me, a muscadine type. The wine bears no resemblance to traditional Burgundy. If you want to taste some very sweet muscadine wines, you will probably enjoy your tasting.

I was really excited to visit Duplin Winery, but found myself slightly disappointed upon my arrival. I expected a place where I could sit down with family and friends and enjoy wine and food, but was met with a retail store with sit down wine tasting bars. Really hoping that the folks over at Duplin decide to diversify their offerings in the future, to cater to people like myself looking for that all-in-one experience. Wishing the Duplin Winery Team the best of luck with future business.

Gave it 4 stars out of 5 because it doesnt really do anything to set itself apart from other wineries... just an ordinary winery with a big gift store and tasting... The wine is good, and always has been, I have been drinking Duplin for years... No complaints.... Not a definate must on your to-do list but definitely worth stopping by if you pass by and have time.

Visiting Duplin was one of the highlights of my vacation. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. I to went the wine tasting twice! My parents and I purchased a case of wine plus a few extra bottles and my cousins bought two cases. This is a great winery if you like sweet wine. It is worth the $10 for the deluxe wine tasting!

The service that Duplin provides is great. The price for a wine tasting is great for a person traveling on a budget. They also have a non-alcoholic tasting, though they dont advertise it. Their wine is inexpensive, which makes it the perfect souvenir to take home. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and fun. Its really worth the trip.

Been to Duplin several times, and love their wines. I have been a heritage member for around a year. Recently their service has really gone down. The lady doing the wine tasting was somewhat rude and very detached from the group. The bar tender had the same attitude. Seemed like they were very uninterested in being there.

This is our second visit to Duplin in Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is so nice and friendly. Great wine tasting with Phyluss she was so fun and really funny she made our experience great. Wine tasting start at 5.00 with souvenir glass. I live in North Carolina so I love sweet Musadine wine. Always a great visit.

Awesome wine, friendly & knowledgeable staff, great prices for wine tasting and products. Laid back atmosphere with live music when we went. Definitely recommend! We were actually on vaca on this trip, so I cant wait to visit the Rose Hill location which is closer to where we live.

Loved this place! Totally changed my mind about Muscadine wines... the staff are great... the wine tasting was complimentary after we went to the Alligator Adventure next door... we ended up finding four different wines that my husband and I both agree on!

Felt like this one was more of sales pitch. I prefer the one in rose hill. People are funny and was more entertaining. This one it just felt like they were trying to get you to buy this and that. As always if you like sweet wine you will love duplin.

I havent been there yet......but happy their here! I finally went to a tasting & it was all I had imagined! I didnt know they had so many different types along with slushy flavors. Really enjoyed myself & I would recommend this to my friends & family.

I am normally a beer drinker, but I do love a nice sweet sipping wine. If you like sweet NC wines, this is the place to go. Their Christmas wines are great, as is their Mothervine Scuppernong. The tasting was well worth it.
