Went to Strawberry festival today. Wait was too long for food, should have 12 + burgers cooking and ready to go, they werent prepared for crowd. They should also have 2 lines, one for strawberrys and one for food. We ordered the choc covered strawberries with our food but had wanted to get strawberry shortcake. Food line was so long we werent going to wait in it. I think they could sell a lot more. People walked away when they saw the line. Didnt see any strawberry wine, we had thought of buying a bottle. Bar area was packed, good for them, but we left - again - didnt want to wait in line.

Weve been to the Merritt Estate Wineries for just one visit. Their strawberry festival in the early summer. It was enough to make us want to keep coming back. Today we are visiting for their Septemberfest event. Im sure it will be a wonderful time!

Amazing wines & the "Strawberry Festival" during the strawberry moon is so much fun! Affordable. Family atmosphere. Live music. Car show & vendors. Bring a chair. Spend the day! Enjoy a wine XTC Slushie!

During our visit to the Chautauqua Wine Trail wineries, I think we found the most wines we liked from Merritt. A wonderful selection of ice wines and very friendly staff.
