My girlfriend and I visited the Wilmington area for a relaxing weekend and decided to taste some local wine. The rain made it an easy choice! Noni Bacca is a wine shop in a small plaza 10 mins from downtown Wilmington. There were plenty of varietals to choose from, each with complex and rich flavors. Ken, the owner was very knowledgeable and personable. They even ship their wines for free if you buy 6 or 12 bottles. I know thatll come in handy. We didnt try any of the sweet wines, but we did enjoy several of the dry, semi dry whites, and many of the dry reds. I would recommend going, and will return soon. In fact, they do cookouts there on the weekends and discount their bottles if you stick around. Additionally, for those beer lovers, they carry craft beers available in singles or 6 packs so theres something for everyone.

We love the local wine scene and will build a trip around different local wineries we would like to visit. We came to North Carolina for our most recent excursion, and I would trust Ken at Noni Baccas taste buds with anything I drank...or ate for that matter. I tasted mostly whites with a few reds, while my husband tasted mostly fruit wines with a few dessert wines. They offer 2 different tasting options: either 6 or 9; we chose 9 a piece. Honestly, we fell in love with every one we tasted, and it wasnt just the wine talking. Ken was knowledgeable, informative without being snobbish, and a wonderful compliment to a great wine experience!

Not only does Noni Bacca make great wine (about 70 different kinds), and put on great parties (drop by Thursday nights to see what I mean), but they are a great resource for the do-it-yourself home vintner and beer makers. They sell everything form equipment, kits, hops, chemicals to fresh juice imported from vineyards all over the world. Where else can you sample world-class award winning wines made locally from grapes grown all around the world, but you can get some of the same juices and make it yourself! Toni and Ken are a wealth of knowledge in picking out a good wine, or how to produce a great wine at home.

That was the words my wife and I heard on our first visit here while vacationing in Wilmington. We got the 6 taste with the souvenir glasses about $12 for each person. We started our sampling and after the first taste my wife wanted the cheese, pepperoni slices and crackers to go with the wine. This runs about $10 and the owner gives you a knife to cut your cheese. If you got try to get in the high back chairs against the wall, but dont get to relaxed that you fall asleep. We relaxed and ended up staying there about 2 hours, it was a great experience...We would go again and highly recommend it.

For our weekend get-away to Wilmington I chose this placed based on the great ratings it had already. We paid $25 for 6 different wine tastings each; whites, reds, fruit and dessert wines. There were so many to choose from and not to mention the crazy amount of awards that a lot of them have received! Every wine was unique and the balance of flavors was perfect! The wine sample was more than plentiful and the small souvenir glasses added a nice touch. The owner and his wife were very friendly and both had really good suggestions. We left with 2 bottles of our favorites! Will definitely be back!

Over four years ago I was getting a haircut at a salon that was located in the same building as Noni Bacca. I was a little early for my appointment so I decided to stop for a glass of wine and I have been going there ever since. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owners KEN and TONI. They such lovely people. Their selection of reds is incredible and if you like whites and sweets Im sure you will find something for your preference . And if youre interested in making your own wines they also teach you to make your own. This gem should be on your to do list in Wilmington !!

My friend and I first went to Noni Bacca in 2015 and for a year straight talked about how we HAD to go back for our 2016 trip. Both times we were not disappointed. The owners are great with a wonderful sense of humor and a vast knowledge of wine. Its a small place, so if you want to go in with more than 5 or so ppl, call first so you get the experience they are capable of providing. Their wine has over 100 prestigious National awards. I heard Amy Schumer has visited this place a time or two...

Im new to the area and have been trying to make it to all the local wineries and this one definitely impressed me! So many options and the gentleman working was so helpful and nice. He was extremely patient with me while I made up my mind about which wines to try. I ended up buying 2 bottles instead of the 1 I had planned on. And honestly narrowing it down to 2 was hard. Ill definitely be back soon to try the rest of the list!

We travel to Wrightsville Beach 1 x per year if were able to do so and have managed to hit Noni Baca every time. The wine is great, the atmosphere ideal, Ken and his wife are good people, you can bring in food, and service never lacks. Very open and inviting place to relax and have a glass of really good wine! Well be back the next time were able to make it down there :D

We were visiting from Washington State and hoping to find a good glass of local wine. Who would have known we would find GREAT wine? As a matter of fact I am enjoying a glass of their Malbec as I write this review. The Northwest is known for great wines, but I would put any of Ken and Tonis up against the Northwests best. We will be ordering more in the future.

It was so awesome. Seriously dont be fooled by it being in the shopping center. I am a cheap person and I actually bought 3 bottles. It was so worth it and they compete around the world with their wine that they make in house and they have won many metals. Please take time to check it out. It was really awesome with reasonable prices.

Ive been here twice and have already scheduled my third trip as a Master Pour for Two. Cant wait! Its a family owned and operated business, with extensive knowledge on the premium wines they create and share. Their prices for tastings are fantastic and the wines range from traditional to pretty darn creative!

This is a GREAT place. The owners are so fantastic and you instantly feel welcome when you walk in. I love the sweet fruit wines - especially the BlackBerry. The have wines for every taste and preference and they make the wines themselves. If you are visiting Wilmington it is SO worth a stop.

My Mom and I came to Noni Bacca Winery and were treated like Gold. The owner is very genuine, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. We like sweet wines, and the Aurora Borealis Ice Wine was the best type of Ice Wine Ive ever had. Definitely a two thumbs up - highly recommended!!!
