This was our first time coming here, we decided to take a day trip from Georgia and this place seemed to have pretty good reviews. WRONG, so completely wrong. We sat for over an HOUR waiting to be served from their ONE waitress. I understand that it was busy, she seemed to be the only server, so we were patient for a long time. That is, until we finally went up to her and asked if we could order (after about 30 minutes) she simply looked at us and said she would be there in a minute. We waited another 30 plus minutes and finally just went to the bar and ordered everything through them. We basically served ourselves, used our beach towels as napkins and even after we picked up our food and drinks from the bar, the waitress never once in our 2 hours of being there, said a single word to us. She did however, make eye contact on MULTIPLE occasions, I even smiled at her and tried to wave her over, but she continued to blatantly ignore us. We even tried moving at one point to a table in an area she seemed to be spending most of her time in. NOTHING. She seemed more interested in socializing with friends and even going up to the bar (while my fiancé finally went up to place our order) and told the bartender how annoyed she was and didnt want to be there. No need in saying it out loud, we saw that to be very clear. Again, I understand that when you are the only waitress on the floor, its overwhelming, but it seemed she had plenty of time to socialize while ignoring SEVERAL tables, including ours. Had she even just stopped by to check on us and say SOMETHING, it wouldnt have been so disappointing... But completely ignoring us for the total of 2 plus hours? That was beyond ridiculous.

When entering the Tiki Hit from the beach, dont be deterred by the "guests only" sign, that is for the pool next door. All you need to be a guest at the Tiki Hut is a way to pay them money. The Tiki Hut is a very unique beach venue with live music, sports on TV (as if youll be looking at the TV), beach volleyball courts, and great service. Its so awesome you can just walk off the beach into the Tiki Hut, order some fish tacos and a beer, and then go back to playing in the ocean when your done.

Typical beach side bar with very limited beer choices. I had a Dales Pale Ale that tasted old and oxidized. When I checked the canning date on the bottom, sure enough, it was 6 months old. I pointed it out to the bartender and he blamed the distributor. Maybe its true, but you still need to check these things. Problem is, most are there to consume frozen cocktails and pale, light, fizzy and ice cold beer. If thats what you like, then this is the place for you.

The waitress was nice once we found a seat. Its first find first get on seats. The waitresses dont sit you which can make it very hard to find a seat. Music was fine, live band but we could barely hear what they actually sang. Drinks are kind of pricey. Between $10-11 for a cup smaller than a red solo cup. I got the chicken Ceasar salad and it was great, more than I could eat for sure. Hubby got the burger and fries. He said it was ok.

Our waitress was kind and punctual with refilling our drinks. The bartenders are excellent mixologist as well as very polite. I overhead an intoxicated customer speaking negatively to a bartender and he was respectful and professional. The atmosphere was great until the storms poured in. Even then, we all moved in under the hut and they let us stay to finish our drinks. We will be back!

The only thing I didnt enjoy about this place was that I started a tab with my debit card and me and my party decided to split the bill in half and not only did they charge us for the half we paid for they also charged us for the entire bill as well. It will come back on the card but not until Monday because of the weekend. . Other thanthat it was a great atmosphere and service

The fact is that this place has live music almost every night and is located on the beach. It also has a lot of cool paintings and pictures. Unfortunately the area around it often smells like human urine, because people drink and then just go off to a corner and pee. But you can listen to music and step in the ocean at the same time and that is pretty cool

Part of the Beach House. Easiest access is from the beach during the day and in the evenings, need to park at the free beach parking across the street from the Beach House/Coligny Beach Park and walk through Beach House parking lot. Decent spot for a drink on the beach. Lots of music, decent prices, goes well into the evening.

The best food we had all week! Wonderful margaritas and frozen drinks. The food is great and the atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. When I got to the resort we were staying in, there was no tiki. I was thrilled to find this one next door. The Cuban sandwich is wonderful and the waitresses are also very friendly.

Music, volley ball, pool, bar, and beach front access by day: live music, fun atmosphere, lighted pool, and lively experienced bartenders... Whats not to love? Lived in HHI ~8 yrs ago and there was a much livelier atmosphere on ENTIRE island, so lack of star isnt for just Tiki Hut- its island wide.

Overpriced and poor food quality bit nice location. Do not get the fish tacos. They say they are Mahi, but who really knows. It looks like cat food and the fish tasted old. Not only that, but they are served in a corn tortilla so it falls apart and you have to eat them with a fork.

This is the essential barefoot beach bar on Hilton Head - everyone has a great time, locals and visitors alike enjoy great live music, outdoor fire pits add to the ambience - its hard not to have a great time. Tiki Hut is family friendly and the people are great!

Tiki Hut was an awesome evening out. Friendly, fast service, great live band and overall fun and thriving atmosphere. The location is pretty special sitting right on the beach inviting fellow beach visitors but also attatched to the Holiday Inn hotel.

Outdoor bar with a fantastic view of the beach. The bar also overlooks the volleyball courts on the beach. The bar has live music on the weekends and sometimes during the week. Make sure to catch the local band, Jojo Squirrel.

Ive easily spent a month salary at the Tiki Bar while I lived on HHI! The music, the people, the bartenders, the view right on the ocean, I love everything about this place! This was my home away from home away from home...lol
