A group of friends and I rented a house in sea pines just a week ago, the first problem we had was that our final payment for the house was stolen from the rental office mail box. The payment was sent to the address given to us, unfortunately we were told that although it was their mistake in telling us to mail our money order to this address they were not at fault and we ran the risk of loosing out on a vacation that wed invested our hard earned money on. Lastly we found out that their was a family of rats living on our enclosed patio and had set up shop in the grill. The pest control came and eliminated the rat problem, but when we asked to replace the grill that the family of rats lived in we were given a simple no. Its very unfortunate because the house was beautiful, be we had to spend an extra $1200 and deal with rats.

The resort itself is great, everything is local. Stayed at Willow Wood Spa. Bike ride to everywhere, all workers friendly and helpful. Knew about the wait when dining out, went early (around 5) had min wait. On the other hand, went to Hilton Head to golf a little. The Ocean Golf Course had the worse greens I have been on in 40 years of golf. Played 17 June 2015, paid $100. One green was half gone, was so bad I took pictures. Seriously, half of the green was removed. They should not have let anyone on the course at all. Several greens and major portions removed. The Tees and Fairways were in good, only to hit the greens and you scratch you head on how bad. All they told us was , "The greens are a little slow today" I left this course disgusted.

First, I would like to start off by saying Im a big advocate of visiting Hilton head for vacation. However, I will never visit sea pines again. The people that are helping direct cars to get in are extremely rude. I made the simple mistake and got into the homeowners lane to enter sea pines. I told the gentlemen that I made the mistake and wanted to get into the visitors lane. The man on the other side was EXTREMELY RUDE and said the other man told me to leave(not true). He yelled and made sure I backed my car up to leave. I was looking forward to the shopping, dining and entertainment sea pines has to offer, but unfortunately I will never return due to my experience.

My husband and I stayed at the marina and everything was amazing. People were friendly and extremely helpful. The only complaint I have was the lady at the guest pass center. She was extremely rude to me as a first time visitor. So rude, that I considered putting my car in park and asking to speak with her supervisor immediately. (Drive up guest pass window) Considering she was my first impression of how my weekend may be, I was not happy. However, everything else was above and beyond my expectations. It is a great place to stay.

One of if not thee, prettiest and lush private plantations on Hilton Head Island. Unlike many other of the Islands private gated plantations, Sea Pines has much more to offer their residing guests & day-guests. Miles of pristine powder sand beaches, water sports & activities, shopping, dining/cocktails, sight seeing, golf, biking, horse back riding, boat rentals, American history, and so much more. A $7.00 day pass (purchased at the entrance will give you a full days access to all Sea Pines has to offer!

Installed carpet in the Mariott Villas for Nader Nader a.k.a. Jon from Romeo Carpet & Flooring. Our pay was our past due rent....after leaving us all day to do whatever he does he decided we took too long even though we finished on Wednesday per his instructions & didnt pay us a single penny! Now we are not only homeless but also lost everything we own. Youll get whats coming to you Nader on your judgement day! Or possibly sooner when you least expect it.........big brother is always watching you!!!

6 bucks to just drive in. Terrible signage letting you know that there is a visitor lane and a resident lane. Accidentally went through the visitor lane and was chased down by an armed guard from this sudo-guard shack. She was furious and accusatory. You would have thought we were smuggling nuclear weapons in or committed some sort of class 1 felony. We got the impression that that is a common occurrence because no one in the free world would think that the road is a toll road.

Terrible attitude by the gate guard where you pay the $6 visitor fee. We accidentally went through the resident side and the gate guard was furious. Made us turn around. I didnt get his name but he had a crew cut , short and had tattoos. This was at around 12pm on 7/25/2016 in the Greenwood drive entrance. He seemed like he hated his job and needed an excuse to take it out on someone else. We wont be vacationing at the Sea pines resort because of this guy.

Very convenient to both the beach and other parts of the island. We mostly walked/biked around the paths to get places, it was nice to not need to start the car. Beautiful trees provided lots of shade, and the beach house/lounge and stables were fun too. Everyone was very nice and explained everything we needed.

There are countless activities to do while staying at Sea Pines. From several private beaches to miles of bikes trails, and of course Harbor Town, there is something you are bound to love during your stay here. Even if you dont book within their grounds, you can still enter their property for $5 a day.

Overpriced Nazi corporation. Enslaves foreign workers at penny pay to gain even more money and power. Guards act like they are fighting terrorists daily. So much greed, $6 day pass for locals? Unreal. Awful overpriced food. $4 bottles of tap water with Sea Pines logo? What is this a Disney theme park?

A fabulous resort for families. This is the main entrance and location for checking in for any rentals within the Sea Pines community on Hilton Head. Make reservations, get information or pick up your rental key. Everyone is friendly and it mirrors the great time you will have during your stay.

I rented a 2/3 townhouse for the week long family trip and was very pleased with the value for the price. Clean and spacious, it made the six night stay a comfortable one. Lone complaint are the door locks: when locked, can be freely rotated from the inside (my youngest is three).

Love coming here. Hilton head is beautiful and Sea Pines is very well maintained, has courteous staff, and is very safe. We didnt even have to lock our bikes (the easiest way to get around the resort) when we went to yhe beach. Would definitely recommend.

Great time. Roads to get around are very confusing even with gps. Lighthouse was great. Took kids on a cruise tour (Pirates of Hilton Head), highly recommend for 9 and under. Great playground area, and places to picnic. NO BEACH ACESS.

Location of the place is amazing! I could see the ocean from the inside, and its only 3min walk to the beach. They rent the bike too so if you like biking, you can ride bike along the beach. Great place to visit for vacation!

Spent a nice weekend with friends at Sea Pines. Rented a house just off of the beach. Fabulous house, but the most dated of any that we have staid at. The hot water had a sulphur smell for about a day, but that cleared up.
